8-27-09 It's been a couple months since our last update so here's some of what's been going down all summer. Summer Pre-Order update: We ran into a ton of delays with the Wolf Whistle, Downpresser, and Thought Crusade records and I wasn't able to get 95% of the pre-orders out before I left for tour back in late June. I'm back now and just sent out the remainder of the pre-orders! So everyone should have their stuff within the next couple weeks! I'm sorry for the delay but sometimes things just don’t always go our way. BANE!!! We are extremely excited to announce that BBB will be releasing the next BANE 7" next month! shipping 3 7"s to Australia was $5.50 but shipping 4 7"s was almost $9. USPS makes no sense and calculating shipping for overseas customers is the hardest thing. similar situations happen with European orders as well. shipping an LP and a couple 7"s to Germany was $12. it's ridiculous

I have 2 Busta Rhymes test presses that I got on ebay 4 years ago for $1 each. Not really sure why I bought them

I can attest to the fact that the plant Jeff used for the Title Fight record is slow as shit and always has delays. the recent Downpresser record I did, for example, was mailed to the plant back in early April. I told them I needed the records before June 24th (the day I left for tour) so I could get pre-orders out. they said it would be no problem and the records would be in way before that. well, they didn't and they had over 2 months to press 1000 records. while I was on the road, I got a ton of emails saying they were delayed again and again. The records didn't come till AFTER I got back from tour in August. It took 4 months to get my records and they even pressed 300 of them on the wrong color. so yeah, give Jeff a break, you'll get your pre-orders. To those who think Jeff is just stealing their money, do you really think Jeff is living in luxury with your $25? yo! a brief update. the Wolf Whistle covers came in the morning I left for tour and I spent a good 8 hours before heading to the airport packing up as many as I could. remember, behind it all is just me so I'm doing all the assembling/packing orders alone! I got about 150 orders for just the wolf whistle 7" and it just wasn't possible to get every single one out. I was able to mail out around 50 or 60 of the WW orders. the Downpresser and TC records just came in, apparently. the good news is that I get back from tour in 5 days and my entire time home is going to be dedicated to sending out the remaining 200+ pre-orders for all the records. I apologize for the delay, I was supposed to have all 3 records in with plenty of time to mail out all orders before I left but if you've ever pressed a record, you know that virtually nothing goes right. hope that clears it all up and I apologize again for the delay! -Sam
