The music discussion board on 4chan.

I used to eat Oreo's dry until someone made me try an Oreo that was dunked in milk for like 10 seconds and it changed my Oreo experience for like... ever.

Whoa, that is weird! 'Tis a small world.

Just searched the thread, no one's mentioned Thantifaxath? Really great band that released an LP about a year or two ago.
-
I've never heard of DCEmu so I'd say no.

Video Game OSTs are really cool for vinyl releases, in my opinion. Maybe not if the music is still in MIDI format, but like a string/orchestral version video game music is something that's very amazing to listen to if you love the game/soundtrack and having it on vinyl would be very heartwarming to me.
But I do agree it's a bit strange to just have chiptune sounds on wax.

I saw a discussion on this elsewhere, and I thought I'd see how it plays out here.
When it comes to how much I enjoy an album/song/release/whatever, I really only take it all in musically, only paying attention to the lyrics if I want to sing/scream/rap along.
How much do lyrics affect your music experience? What are y'all's thoughts/standpoints?

Postage paid, after shipping, etc.

I've never gotten a solid-colored vinyl... This is pretty typical, I think. Every "opaque" color vinyl I have has some kinda white and/or black swirlies in it.
Edit: Okay, I was exaggerating a little. I got curious and checked all my solid color vinyl (like 5 discs) and only one had a significant white swirl. The others either had none or a very small amount of black or some other color actually.

Yo, there's a copy of this at the HT by my place. I was thinking about picking it up for myself but it sounds like someone else would want this more.

Wow, I was hopeful but wasn't expecting another release from Czarface. That 70+ page comic book seems really cool tbh.

Any Unexpect fans here? I'd love to see a pressing of In A Flesh Aquarium.

If it was possible for me to order and not too much, I might have that problem. Still no idea how you even get one of these.
I'm in the same boat here.

I've never heard of them! Will definitely check them out. Recent releases by Cattle Decapitation have been really good as well.
-
I remember really enjoying their most recent, though I haven't given it a lot of listening. That song "Burn" was really nice though. Hopefully if I ever find myself wanting this it won't be a bitch to get.

I found RTJ2 locally for $55. I almost bitched the owner out over it, because another store less than four minutes away prices it at $25. What in the actual fuck?
Holy shit. Not even the bullshit record store in New Orleans (Peaches) would jack the price that high. I haven't even been able to find any copy locally, unfortunatey. :/ $25 isn't terrible.

New Zealand death metal-ers just announced through facebook that their sophomore album will be getting its first vinyl treatment.
This band's first two albums have never been pressed before, so I'm crossing my fingers that their first album will eventually get a pressing as well.
Willowtip -- the band's previous label before signing to Relapse -- will be doing the pressing.
PO went up Oct. 9th here, 200 orange, 300 black.
Also, if you like heavy music and haven't heard of Ulcerate, I'd strongly recommend them!
-
Surprise bump! I'll bring this down to $18.
-
The whole album is actually pretty enjoyable (I was not impressed by What You Don't See), but I really liked Heavy Gloom. I might have to make my way to Texas to see them this Summer.
-
Looks like they have them. Love the color!
Where did you get this picture from??

This is crazy awesome, man. Many kudos! Good luck with any future publishing endeavors.
