After months of watching ebay, I was able to get a sealed copy of The Fragile for a little over $70. Just keep looking and waiting. I think what helped was the auction ended on a Wed. at like 11:30p. This was the most (by far) that I ever spent on an LP, but The Fragile is my favorite album ever.

I understand. I'm not to upset with the color (this is the only copy of Enema that I have), I'm just upset on the way this press was handled. I feel a little decieved. It would have been nice if there was some more communication, that is all. On another note, has anyone been able to scan thier QR code? Maybe the QR code re-inforces the hand numbering?

the point of the sticker was to tell the difference between pressings. if you have a 3rd press and try to push it off as a 1st press, your jacket is going to numbered. 1st presses won't have the sticker. if you don't care about pressings and only bought this to play and think it's ugly, take it off The first press could easily be pushed off as this press. All someone needs to do is make a sticker of a QR code and write some numbers on the jacket with a sharpie.

well, after 3 different code readers and mutiple attempts to scan it, it won't scan. I think it's because the the one square by itself it somewhat chopped off. Here is the pic

Recieved my copy from Shopcastradio today. Not to happy with how they did this. The little QR code sticker thing can definetly be recreated and it CAN come off pretty easy (I could get the corner up with my fingernail)

On a plus side, if your just interested in the music, a lot of the promo suff was the very first press. So a lot of the time (mostly with older LP's) they just sound better due to them being pressed first.

I can't really remember finding this place, but I made one post in 2008 asking if anyone was selling a copy of Sparta-Wiretap Scars on vinyl. Forgot about this place until recently! Love looking through the For Sale stuff and hearing about pre-orders is really nice.
