Bumping cuz I'm moving in two months and need ideas on how to transport my collection. ~300 records, moving two hours away. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!
-
Just ordered Sage Francis- Li(f)e and Silverstein- Short Songs for $12.93 shipped. Hopefully they don't get packed like shit.
-
Ramones live albums are always great because they play the songs twice as fast as they are on the studio albums.
American made, son.

Holy fuck, that was difficult to read. The first record I ever bought was at a Brand New concert in a tiny club right after they first released Your Favorite Weapon. There was no more than 20-30 people in attendance it was crazy anyways I bought The Rookie Lot/Yearly 7" Split Vinyl Jesse Lacey's first band and alot of other musicians that went on to be in Saves The Day, The Movielife and The Stryder for $4 at the Brand New Merch table I can't believe I owned it for like 9 years and ended up having to sell it last year, it was definitely a sweet record to own. Ahh memories.
-
Ha! Considering there are 9 of them known to be in existence and they go for thousands of dollars...yeah, I'd pay $50 for that one.
That's what I'm saying haha. Only one worth more than $50 to me haha.
-
I appreciate the help. I may stop by the mall later and see if they have any good deals.Sorry guys only self titled left.
-
Yeah that's wayy too much for a 7"
There's one that's worth it to me. God Save The Queen on A&M. But that's a white whale if I've ever heard of one.
-
Stoked on whatever it is they release.
-
I was gonna buy that but the one track I really wanted was digital only :/
You'll still get it, just won't be on the LP. I highly recommend the comp though. Got me turned on to Daisyhead and Moose Blood.
-
Nah I'm not upset. If anything, I think it's cool because there doesn't appear to be that many. Maybe it's a promotional copy?
Possibly. It's not on Discogs. But there IS a purple one going for $50 on there. Fuck that haha.
-
Going out to hot topic today. Will dig through the clearance vinyl and let you know.
Thanks dude.
-
eBay actually. There was a black copy for $15 I decided to go ahead and purchase. I was under the impression that they were only available in three different colors, not black.
I wouldn't be upset about it. I've never seen one available firsthand, and it's on my list. Then again, I haven't ever looked for it on eBay or here.

Thrice - The Artists In The Ambulance [2xLP] (Red)
New Found Glory / Dashboard Confessional - Swiss Army Bro-Mance 7" (Black)
Dredg - The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion [2xLP]
Where'd you get Swiss Army?

No offense, but I like the pro-flipping RSD statements because I read them as, "I'm going to stand outside for 16+ hours in hopes of making a couple hundred dollars (essentially minimum wage). Won't cost me a thing, suckers!"
This. I usually only wait about an hour or two, and this year will be no different. It's gonna be fuckin' hard to keep myself from flipping an RSD copy if I get it, though.

I'd love to have anything from AOBU and older. That was the last record from them that I have any care to.As I Lay Dying - "The Powerless Rise" back in 2011. It was the super limited deluxe fan box set and it had a "picture disc". I honestly didn't know it had music and was playable. I think I was majorly into AILD and got a hold of "An Ocean Between Us" next... kinda just went from there. I hit the ground running in 2013 and got a majority of what I have now... and didn't get a player until 2014. True story.
-
Coheed And Cambria's Second Stage Turbine Blade, on a green marble LP. I got it in 2012 directly from EVR/MerchNow. I wanna say it's /250, but I can't remember and it isn't on Discogs. It didn't come with an insert at all either.
-
For anyone who would be interested, UNFD said this will be at RSD.
In the states or UK?
-
That sounds fuckin' awesome. I'm totally cool with paying an extra couple bucks for that kinda treatment. Being in the Midwest, my shit always has to travel a distance. The mailers we're using are completely different, ours have extra protection to prevent banged up corners and seam splits, theirs, I believe are just silkscreened, but I could be wrong.
Either way, we package our records very well and that's what you're paying for, shipping and handling, which is obviously also done by an employee or intern that is being paid.
-
Doubtful. Just ordered a few things from No Sleep today, media mail was $3.99. They got new custom mailers this week. The price likely increased due to their fancy new mailers.
-
My store does, but it's the same price online. Same with Lover, The Lord Has Left Us. Same price online.I finally read into Enjoy the Toons Records and finally understand what you guys have been going on about in the other thread. What a goddamn joke. Anyway, someone let me know if they see clearance copies of The Tiger and the Duke in their stores. Thanks!
-
i dont get out to the mall often, but next time i do i will keep both of you in mind, they have a ton of good shit on clearance cheap.
I really appreciate it. I don't go to the mall unless I sent a HT order to the store. my store doesn't get a lot of good shit. Mostly Victory and Disney.
-
I asked the same thing like immediately after he posted and never got a response. Pretty bummed too hahaCould you get me one? I'll PayPal in advance and everything

Mine didn't come with a 7", or any of the VIP stuff listed on Discogs.
