Yea, that was the text on last year's Batman record, and I was really hoping for it. At least Waxwork is releasing Elfman's Beetlejuice this Friday to hold us over.

Just got my deluxe Batman in and on the sleeve it says, "Expected in 2019: Batman the Animated Series Vol.2 Box Set". I'm not sure I need a second set of scores from this series, but the first set is one of my favorite in my collection.

Mosha posted the LP colors and further artwork for the upcoming Batman release on his insta today. Looks like a black/yellow LP and a translucent green LP. Don't know if that was the standard or extended. Batman Returns had 3 LPs for the expanded. Says it is "coming soon".

Thanks for all these recommendations. I am fully aware of the wealth of info on here, and I appreciate it/check it often, but sometimes having a non-forum based source for news is a little more easily digestible on the go. With all of its flaws, MV accomplished those things fairly well so I was just hoping there was another site out there like that.

Technically speaking, this year is the 30 year anniversary, so I would think this would drop before year-end, but they didn't announce it with their sub for this year and it's probably going to be a huge release, so I imagine they'll want to use it as a selling point for a 2019 sub. I am not a subscriber, though I think I'm going to do it this year, but I think last year it went for like $250. They announce what will be included beforehand so you don't have to take a risk that you won't like all releases, so that's a bonus.

So with the recent lull of activity of modern-vinyl.com (they've announced they're going to switch to an email only format in the future).. where is everyone getting up-to-date news on vinyl? It seems every site I hit is either updated infrequently or only updated with highly obscure stuff no one has ever heard of so it doesn't function as well as a "here's your daily vinyl news" type source.

Also... y’all noticing how GOD DAMN TIGHT these sleeves are getting? Especially for the Halloween soundtracks - it’s like wrestling trying to fit the record back into the sleeve.

I almost don't even play my copy of Jaws because it's such a pain in the ass to get back in. Sounds beautiful, but jesus, I spend as much time as Side A just trying to get the damn thing back in.

Eff. I sold this back in 2016 for $40. I wish I would've held on knowing what I know now. =(

So I got the TMNT soundtrack in the mail yesterday (sounds amazing!) and on the outside of all of their packaging, they have thumbnail images of all of their releases to date printed on the cardboard. All were ones we've seen before except for one MAJOR standout... the final artwork for BEETLEJUICE and the artwork looks sooo good. I'm not sure if this one purposely slipped through the cracks, but I can't wait to get my hands on a remastered version of (IMO) one of Elfman's best. I know they hinted at this back in March, but it looks like it's coming soon if it's on their packaging.
