  1. I just made a new bottle of DIY record cleaning solution last night. Here's my method which I find to work great, and it's what a local (and renowned) record store uses... all of this in a spray bottle.

    • A few drops of Seventh Generation regular dish soap (no scent, that's the brand I use but I've heard regular old Dawn could work). It has 0% dye, no scent, etc.
    • 91% Isopropyl alcohol (just under 25% of the bottle filled)
    • Distilled water filled to the neck of the bottle.
    • Spray onto a soft dish sponge and/or the record, gently wipe around record with the grooves.
    • Pat and wipe dry with a soft microfiber towel.
    • For the needle, I've always used a regular white Magic Eraser and just dropped the needle into it 3 or 4 times.

Cinevox and AMS Records are releasing a  standard edition  and Peacock version box sets out this Halloween (Oct. 31, 2017). Featuring reproductions of the original OST LP, a 10" clear red LP with unpublished and rare tracks, CD and DVD set with original soundtrack bonus tracks and a documentary with Argento and Goblin interviews, and TWO 64-page books (Italian and English) with a Suspiria analysis by Fabio Capuzzo.

I have not been following soundtracks much lately but does anyone know if any of the first 3 Halloween OST's are getting releases this year anywhere?

Been bummed for years about the Halloween 3 OST being so limited and flipping online. That's an absolute must own OST for me, but I refuse to pay so much for it. Sucks that such renowned soundtracks are so limited, doesn't make sense.

Side C has some weird pressing sound issues towards the end of Thinking Of A Place and in spots in In Chains. Really disappointing because it's distracting and seems like something that would effect all copies so idk if requesting a replacement would matter. Side D has no issues.

After getting around to it, my side C also has slight crackling in parts, which a brand new record should never have in 2017. It's not unlistenable, just a "really?" thing. Wouldn't waste my time on a replacement, willing to bet ALL of them have it to some extent.

Probably because their shipping charge was fucked. I just refuse to pay $12 shipping for a single lp. Hopefully they have a tour edition.

Was it that much? I think when I checked it was around $8-$9. Still, that's more than usual for one album. Should be $3-$5 for that. Kinda mad I didn't get one, but I guess black will be okay... Maybe I'll wait for the show near me to find out on another variant.

Link states that the purple vinyl is exclusive to uDiscover (I assume this means they are the exclusive US retailer). This is a great album, but I cannot justify paying $30 for a colored pressing when I have the standard press preordered for less than half the price ($14.75 taxed & shipped to CA through Target w/ RedCard). I do not recall Bullmoose ever stating that they would have purple copies and their product page isn't claiming it now.

That's a significant price difference, now I have a tough decision to make.... :( I love that purple, but I have giftcards for Target and Amazon that need used...
