Anyone spin the two reissues yet? Mine will arrive this evening, wondering what the consensus on the sound quality is... a few people on Discogs claim Third Man reissues aren't so hot. Either way, couldn't pass these reissues up, I love these albums.

It's Adam Wiltzie from Stars of the Lid and a handful of other extremely talented ambient/neoclassical musicians. They create an extremely emotional atmosphere. I've seen them live once, years ago, and it was phenomenal.
If you're new to AWVFTS, definitely start with their self-titled. It's a desert island record!

Loving that bloody US pressing! I had to pre-order after that awesome music video! I'm a huge fan of '70s horror, so how they made their entire video based on the title sequence to the original Halloween has me excited for the rest of the album.

Yeah my friend's copy of Shrek came from Amazon, it's the black version. What a sketchy release 🙄 Not gonna go through the trouble of returning and ordering from somewhere else, not for a gag gift lmao.

I know 😩 It's a funny gift for one of our friends. When we initially looked, both the title and photo were correct. It's arriving tonight/tomorrow, so we'll see. I'd be upset if it wasn't the new one.
Now there's a Merchbar listing since today is the release date.

I probably missed the memo, but why does Shields insist on keeping this album in limited print? Why not have it available indefinitely, instead of a limited pressing that once sold out, remains mysteriously OOP. Dude spent how much time perfecting the reissue only to have it now gone again, with flippers ruling it's aftermarket sales. And it was only available via their webstore and very few other sources...

Picture disc sounds sub-par when compared to standard colored vinyl anyway. One bonus track wouldn't entice me. Also, I actually like the original pink artwork over the exclusive version.

I saw her open for The Body last year, and it was insane. My fav track off that album is Holy is the Name. Hearing that on record is traumatic enough, but live... it was something else. You could literally feel the presence of sorrow in the room.

It's 3D printed, AND you don't need to put holes in your wall. It mounts with a command strip adhesive, so you can always take it down/move it, just replace the strip.

Sooo... someone uploaded the full Blood Incantation to YouTube 😬. Tempting, but I wanna wait for my LP to arrive (ended up buckling for black after missing the colors.)
