Kirk would fuck up Luke. Not sure on Han/Spock.
Clearly Han would shoot first...so...Winner there. (Also if you don't get that, we're through, brotha.)
-
SPOCK > LUKE
Well, we all know Luke is a pansy, but you have to compare Luke to Kirk and Spock to Han...and that's a much tougher comparison.

Also. TWO DAYS.

I dig all things sci-fi pretty much, so I like Star Wars and Trek...Not a big fan of the gangster/mobster movies, but whatevs.

I got a bunch of free shit that my boss told me to throw out when I worked at Goodwill. One of the first I remember buying is Black Sabbath - Paranoid. Solid purchase.
-
I can't believe the price on Passion Pit - Manners. If my wife would let me, I'd sell my copy in a second.

Woaaaaahhhhhhh. Boooooooooooo.Star Wars is only cool if you're like 8.

Holy shit. You waited an entire week for a record? You poor baby! I would have opened a complaint by that point...Mine "shipped" 3/1, but really started moving on 3/5. Stuck between Houston and Cali for the last three days. Assuming it arrives Tuesday, 3/9. #Slow
/sarcasm
Like that other dude said, a week for media mail is common.

Elvis Costello would be incredible! Turbo Fruits are really fun too. Sounds like a fun little festivalThis is a pretty small festival. It's in Appleton, WI so it definitely does have it's limitations. Every show is also free as admittance allows. They do offer a VIP ticket that allows priority entrance.
The headliners each year have been acts that are tied to they guy who puts it on, Corey Chisel (the local legend). Year one it was Norah Jones. Norah is producing his Chisels wifes new album. Year two it was going to be the Milk Carton Kids, but they had to cancel so it was Langhorne Slim who is one of Chisels best friends.
Because of the limitations of the Festival what they try and do is target bands that have large followings in their local region and are starting to branch out, like Desert Noises. There are a ton of bands that have developed real strong followings in the Midwest due to their Mile of Music tours. SC Mira was a small band that hadn't played much out of Canada and got a pretty big following in MI, WI, MN after their appearance. Swear and Shake, Desert Noises, Mutts, Pop Goes the Evil, Nikki Lane and Sturgil Simpson are just a few of the other bands that people 'round here go pretty nuts for now
Last year they were able to bring in some pretty decent acts. Should have had Milk Carton Kids, which would have been huge. They did have Sturgil Simpson, Baseball Project, Autumn Defense, Boom Forest, Emporers of Wyoming, Ruby Amanfu, Turbo Fruits which is a pretty solid lineup considering what they have to work with. Rumors are they were working on Elvis Costello last year and that fell apart, which would be a dream for me.

Any alt-country fest that doesn't have Neko Case headlining is a fest I don't want to be involved with!My buddy made friends with the guys putting on our local music festival. Week ago he texted me saying that the guys emailed him asking for suggestions on bands to recruit. He brought up Tim Barry, Austin Lucas, Two Cow Garage, Drive By Truckers and Possessed by Paul James. He just now texted me say he's got a meeting set up next week with them going over bands to recruit. He told me to come up with some bands I want him to bring up. Fuck yeah, my hopes are getting high. I'm trying to keep it to mid sized bands and smaller to keep things realistic but I've brought up Ben Caplan, Emily Barker, Jolie Holland, Arlis Nancy, PJ Bond, Cory Branan, Jonah Matranga and my unrealistic one Murder by Death.
Super stoaked. Hope that they bring in a band or two or more that he brings up. It's mostly a Alt-Country, Americana and Folk festival, but they also bring in some up and coming Indie Rock acts. Stuff that is big in their local region and starting to branch out more. In the past some of the Indie hits have been Desert Noises, Pop Goes the Evil and the Blakes.
She's mid-sized as far as cost these days, right?

You got me listening to J. Cole talking about him earlier (I think it was you), I'd say he's miles ahead of Kendrick, but different strokes.Easily one of the better releases in mainstream Hip Hop in a long time. The different voices and his flow throw some people off but I love it.
The Blacker The Berry was fantastic
I don't pirate music so I don't mind paying whatever the cost is until it's released. Why does that make someone an idiot?
I think all the skits and shit on GKMC just really turned me off. I've never been much into skits, even though I know on GKMC they helped move a story along. I maybe felt like he was spoon feeding the story too much... Just let the music tell it, you know?

The only thing not still easily available at the moment is that Magik Magik Orchestra one, pretty sure.

Is it essential even with Build Nothing, do you think? I don't even have a digital copy. Been dragging my feet on that one, I guess.
I'm feeling the same way Derek, with Building Nothing, and LCW having all the songs from Interstate 8 on them, I just don't see any need to buy Interstate 8 anymore. The only other reason would be the live songs on the B-side...but I'm not crazy about recorded live stuff. Meh.

Huuuuuge props to Batman for dragging me through to level 28 on my Hunter today Gotta grind some shit out and I'll have a level 32 Titan, 32 Warlock, and I think I could hit 30 with my Hunter with the gear I have!

I went to this place in PDX called ?Porque No?.
I got a chicken taco, a carnitas taco, and a chorizo taco. Probably some of the best tacos I've ever had.
Look that shit up.
That joint is delicious.

Not sure about other obligations, but yeah, maybe that's why I'm enjoying this season so much... Vice wore on me.Yeah, she is oddly absent from this season. Does she have other obligations? I haven't noticed her in anything else.
I will say that I'm glad Vice is over. It was fun for a few episodes, but that joke wore thin on me after a while.
I was glad for the development in relationships. Pam and Archer being pals is the best and I'm glad it has carried over.
I figure it'll be the same hair from this season on though. Still funny...just not as original. That's why I'm glad Frisky Dingo only had two seasons. The Christian Slater joke is wearing on me.
-
Ah, boooooo. I think they've just finished developing the characters enough over the course of vice, and now they're getting back into the swing of another season. I need mor Malorie though.
-
You must be cursed. The one time I had to return something, it was a simple 'print this up and send it back'. But that was because they sent me the wrong thing too, which was clearly their fault.
Seriously! I've vowed never to order from them again. :/

I've been catching up on like three months worth of TV the past week or so. This new phone is so dope.
I watched like 5 episodes of Sunny tonight. Like 6 episodes of Archer yesterday.
This season of Archer is pretty stellar.

Gonna give maad city another listen then I guess. Hopefully I dig it.
It's...alright.
I don't know why everyone seems to be all up on his jock. Definitely not greatest alive, probably not even best in the last 10 years.
