  1. Worddd. I preordered mine from amazon.ca when I heard they were repressing it again, also didn't know it was purple. I had $10 credit on there and the CAD is such shit right now it was a decent deal even with the shipping.

Does Amazon prime work with over seas shipping? Never looked into it.
  2. Some of these are a foil rather than a cable so it might be difficult to solder to, there are other ways to hide cables though as there are all sorts of trims you can put in the corner between your floor and wall that you can run cables in.

The other option that is gauranteed to work with female related hifi issues is divorce

I have seen the flatwire stuff for putting behind molding, and due to the extensive work because of the type of kick boards in our house it would be a ridiculous amount of work. We have a 1910 craftsman with fairly tall ornate base boards caulked and painted to lath and plaster walls. Yeah I wasn't sure if I could solder to that stuff or not. Maybe with some flux and a braided flat wire? I can always cut a little strip and try it I guess. LOL. Don't think divorce is an answer. Thanks for the help.
  3. Not stoner/doom related, but I just took a gamble on an elektra Master of Puppets on eBay. $25 ppd from a dude who doesn't seem like he normally sells records. Item description just said "excellent condition" and he had it rated as vg/vg, but from the photos the cover looked pretty minty and still had the shrink on, and the record itself just looked kind of dusty. Thinking the low rating might just be him being extra careful since he doesn't usually deal in vinyl.

The one thing I'm worried about is what could have been either a glare, or a small chip on the edge of the record itself that wouldn't make it to the groove. Pretty sure it was just a glare though. I was very specific on how he should ship it as well.

I know this is riveting... I'll keep you guys updated.

    One of my first records.
  4. So my girl doesn't like speakerwires being run and I see this tape flat wire stuff online. Anyone ever try it? It seems a bit pricey when you start adding the terminals. I would be looking at around $100 for my needs, but dont want to waste cash on something that doesn't work well. I was thinking maybe I could just solder regular speaker wire to it instead of buy terminals? Thoughts?

  5. I'm diggin' it man! You guys have any social network pages or bandcamp where I can follow you?

We had to quit due to our guitarist baby boy getting cancer. Pretty sad story. Unfortunately we only recorded stuff at practice, so all the songs are low quality like this one. Thanks for the compliment.

This songs guitar part was influenced by AC/DC Beating Around the Bush, and the subject matter was kind of a tip of the hat to Black Flag for TV Party, and I was playing a lot of Black Ops at the time LOL.

  6. Nice telecaster. I have been eyeing japanese telecasters on ebay. They have a nice range of lefty models.

I had a Fender Showmaster H/H 5 way switch Seymour Duncan pearly gates and I can't remember the other. It could get a big range of tones. Korean made, but super playing guitar, set neck. God I regret trading it. They are cheap enough that I will get another some day. I had the quilted bubinga top cherry burst. Here's. A picture of the model.8fniLtQ.jpg

I did get a Breedlove acoustic for it so it was a good trade.

  7. I have a 1987 Fender MIJ "E series" strat that is really nice.

Cool. I have a ESP TE-212 candy apple red with a squier Telecaster neck I really like it. I had considered replacing the pick ups but they aren't bad at all. Single coil bridge and a bucker at the neck. Although i am going to replace the flat bridge with a G&L ashtray that has 6 brass barrels instead of 3. Makes intonation a little easier.
  8. I SHOULD buy it. As a left handed player, the Cobain Jag is pretty much the only game in town outside of a Japanese import and the upgrades make it attractive.

if I could magically transform a righty Jag into a lefty, I would get the Johnny Marr Jag. So sweet.

Japanese guitars are well made for the most part. I have noticed a upturn in the market for a lot of Japanese guitars, especially Squiers.
