Got this from elusive disc Getting information on quantity of this title has been very difficult. We don't know for sure how many we will get last we heard from manufacturer was 1 or 2 copies but we are doing everything we can to increase that number. Thanks,

I would love for the execs of 4ad to read this thread. Maybe then they would realize how bad they messed up on the way they are releasing this. Sorry for my ranting guys.

RHP is actually really well known more then I ever would have known. I know this from all the record stores i've spoke with about this product all agreeing the should have pressed more ! They could have sold 10,000 for sure!!!! It could have been the top selling indie record of 2015. If they pressed enough that is!

I called Barnes and Nobel , it's the number one bestseller btw. I was telling her how it's its limited 1500 worldwide how many do you expect? she sounded like she was from some foreign call center and she had a tone her voice like I was crazy and that they know nothing about the limited availability acting like its a normal product.

Honestley 4ad that's what you should have done in the first place now it's a big mess. At least then everyone would have been happy. That extra hour of presales would have made all the difference. But unfortunately I'm pretty sure he was misinformed . 4ad made this so complicated. The customer knows more then the store/distributor

Why Barnes and Nobel so high are they good about fulfilling limited releases? You really think they can get 75? Honestly I can't afford anymore preorders. I have 500 maybe more or a little less tied up from this. Granted I'll get it back if the can't fulfill but I have this preordered at almost 9 sites and makes me scared my accounts Goona get wiped out when all I want is One. I'm worried this will cause my other vinyl I'll be preordering not to go through cause they are all comming out around the same time, vinyl films box, what's next to the moon, and rock n roll singer and not to mention pre orders for universal themes will be going up not long after that.

From Waterloo records Ok, I just got word from our buyers that the Red House Painters Box Set we talked about is not a USA RSD release, but a UK RSD release, but that the label, 4AD, is only making 200 copies available for all of the USA and we're only earmarked for 1 copy of it, so we will most likely be selling it instore only. If we do end up getting any extra, I'll email and let you know!

This whole experience with this particular release has been nothing but stressful. Finally joining this forum so I don't miss any future places. I have this preordered at several venues that have already been posted. The confusion with distributors as far as rsd has been crazy. I've emailed several record stores in the US who are thinking its a rsd item so they are going to sell it on RSD. This confusion is 4ad fault for not being more clear with the distributors and the stores planing to carry this. Did someone miss the memo. Not only are they not printing enough but they dropped the ball on the distribution. I know all of us who didn't get in on 4ad presales are snatching up every preorder opportunity that comes out about in fear of not getting out order fulfilled. 4ad or the distributor should get in touch with the record stores telling them how many they will get and then send an email out to everyone who preordered who will get one for sure and who won't. That way we can all cancel our orders and let others get in on the preorders. I only want one, then I will be happy. Sure there's record flippers whist waiting to get their hands on this but it's crazy for sure. If I get an extra in helping a fellow fan out. Just had to vent my opinion.
