Is that Nuggets, on Commonwealth? If so, I found some really good stuff there cheap. Small Brown Bike Our Own Wars, Celtic Frost Morbid Tales, and some other stuff.

I have an extra Hellfest This Is A Spark Of Life that I may be willing to part with. I've not really thought about what I want for it though.

edit : also worth noting is that the hellfest edition is the exact same as the regular one, except with a printed, hand numbered slipcover over the regular cover.

also : They are working on doing their side of the SMP split as a 7" or something. Of course, I talked to Fox about this forever ago, and we all know how they usually take 10x longer than they say getting this kind of stuff done.

Small Brown Bike are doing these reunion shows to raise money for a friend with leukemia. They're playing at small venues and tickets are $8-$10. That seems pretty cool to me.

Seems like there have been a lot lately. Any that anybody has felt strongly about, one way or the other?

I'm seeing Small Brown Bike tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited. I saw them the very last time they played Detroit on Jan 1, 2004, and it was about the only rock show I've been too that I could describe as 'bittersweet'.

I can't really recall any 'reunion shows' I've been to that were a disappointment, but then again, I can't remember any of the ones I have attended right now anyway.

I'd rather spend money on music than booze.

I want this on colored vinyl very badly but I can't find any kind of information saying it'll be colored. It'll still be awesome on black but something else would be sweet!

The message I sent them asked if there were plans for color vinyl but they didn't address that at all.

Hey dude! Thanks for writing in. Yes, there are plans for a Thrice vinyl set with all 4 EPs. Not 100% sure when that will be out, but we would certainly have to wait for the 3rd and 4th volumes in Spring of 2008. Not sure if a 10” will work though. There might be too much music on these albums to fit onto a 10”, but we’ll see.

Not sure how many songs they have planned, but the idea for a 10" I got because one of my all time favorite EPs is At the Drive In Vaya. Then I thought about how incredible both of Murder By Death's 2x10" were and thought it'd be cool. Meh.

haha. Because of the overcharge in shipping, I usually order with 2 or 3 other people to split the cost. Silly.

You know, I've been looking for a copy of We Sing The Body Electric and I didn't see it there before.

I sent them a message on myspace asking what the story was behind the vinyl release and they told me it was going to be delayed, as they've gotten 2 test presses back and they were both unsatisfactory.

I'm not sure I can take another Bright Eyes album. I think I should have stopped after Lifted.

I truly, really can't stand Dave Matthews Band. I know that's stereotypical or whatever.... but man. I really, really hate them. Really.

That 10 essential was pretty cool. I guess by "half Michigan bands" I mean Donkey Punch, Bear vs Shark and Suicide Machines, because I don't remember who else was on it. I just remember MI got represented.
