Anybody buy them from Newbury Comics before? I told my friend in Boston I needed some and she said she'd pick them up from there before coming here next. Trying to decide what the best deal is.

jeez....nothing like this ever happens in Fargo. I guess maybe that's a good thing, but it's boring too...
Except in that bar where that guy paid 2 other guys to arrest his wife and tell his rich father in law that they'd return her for a ransom of $1,000,000 so that he could cover up that he has been embezzling money from his job at a car dealership!!!!!!!!!11111!!!!!

just hearing the word 'baconator' makes me throw up a little.

or that song about the wife beater or whatever. how banal!

though not as much as I'd like to.

Bloody hell, Scott. Just why?

My local indie shop added a coffee shop to stay afloat. Dude is just starting to carry vinyl now. I used to be the only one who came in and ordered it.

The Weakerthans.

That Weatherbox album is the business. I'd recommend. Super creative songwriting.
edit : and they need to press it on vinyl.

Though Refused, At the Drive In, and Neutral Milk Hotel are 3 of my favorite bands of all time, I don't really care to see any of them reform.

I voted for Kodos.

anybody heard anything about the vinyl release of this? are any of their other releases even on wax?
-
Got on this one. I'm still ticked I couldn't pick up the last ones.

I particularly approve of the Dismemberment Plan and Weakerthans tracks. Good show old man.

Oh man. I thought this was already out on 7". I'm pretty excited. I've been looking for a Satellite Years as well.

xlovecolouredx for sure.

Set you fingers to Smite, I think that is some of the most boring music ever!
agreed, except maybe with the smiting (I smited, smit?, elephantttt earlier because of his signature about panic at the disco so I owe him some karma, here's some!)
smote?

I found a bunch the last time I was there. Unfortunately I'm not familiar enough with Boston to be of much help. I know there were at least a couple on Newbury Street, not counting Newbury Comics.

I've got some stuff at home in my 'records to trade' stack. I'm in DC now so I'll get back to you when I hit Michigan again.

Neko was incredible. One of my good friends went to that show at the Roxy tonight (last night, whatever). She went for the Ergs and Lifetime, though.

i was never too impressed with Jupiter. and im sure im in the minority here, but i think Antenna might even be a stronger record, in terms of that style.
What style? Jupiter and Antenna are as different from each other as they are from Until Your Heart Stops.

Planes Mistaken For Stars' first EP. It just never happens for some reason.

also, this was on the label of the by the grace of god lp that I also got in this order
Perspective! I haven't listened to that record in years. It has some serious jams on it.
Plus, I got it for a penny!

I never really followed Brand New, but I really love that album. I was actually listening to it earlier and wondering about the vinyl again.
