  1. That's pretty close but you can get S&S on white for less sometimes. Yeah, I just looked at the pressing info for Sticks and Stones and saw that 1700 were pressed on white. What does the white usually sell for?
  2. I'm not in the market yet, but am interested in picking up the early records from these guys on vinyl. Nothing Gold Can Stay Self-Titled From The Screen To Your Stereo Sticks and Stones How rare are these records? What am I looking at $ wise for each?
  3. This is a totally serious thread. I really do love the look of Orange vinyl and am in the market to pick up releases I don't have on orange.
  4. Interesting, didn't know this. Is it rough coming across a copy of Get Fired?
  5. I'm wondering how hard it'll be to find someone willing to sell some Smoking Popes LPs to me. Let's see.
  6. Nope. That's just a picture that I had on my computer of yet another orange record. I didn't think it needed clarification because you can read the label. My mistake. It's a beautiful record.
  7. That's the Till' The Wheels Fall Off Tour Edition? Those songs aren't on that record.
  8. I have a weird fetish for orange colored vinyl.
  9. Tonight, I was convinced on going to Bamboozle in New Jersey under the stipulation that I catch The Get Up Kids in New York on May 1st. Who's going to this that wouldn't mind having a few drinks with me?
  10. Not at all, He's been a good friend of mine for about three years. I've never known of him to lie about anything. Take it for what it's worth, though. He's a huge fan of his. I on the other hand think The Moon is Down is the only thing he's done that has stuck with me through the years. I'm not a Dashboard fan by any means. I don't think a new album is realistic. I'd be down for a South Florida reunion show though.
  11. A League of Their Own would've been third on my list without question.
  12. I paid $50 after shipping for it.
  13. I actually like Lemuria, but I think short of a FEW select songs, Get Better is a terrible album. My problem is mostly with the lyrics, Get Better reads like a thirteen year old girls journal. They never did anything better than their split with Kind of like Spitting in my opinion.
  14. I actually just scored an original copy two days ago off there. Thank you for the reply, though.
  15. I share the same belief. My friend told me he said that he thought FSF was too good of a band to just go down the way it did and so he's been talking to the guys and setting up a reunion. He also told my friend that he's moving back to South Florida for a while. It's possible, we'll see what happens.
  16. I was hanging out with my friend last night, who is a guitar salesman at Sam Ash Music in Margate. During our conversation last night, he tells me that he happened to help Chris Carrabba while he was in the store last week. I used to work there as well and it wasn't uncommon for Chris to come into the store while he was in town. Anyway, the two get into a conversation and the topic of Further Seems Forever gets brought up, in which Chris tells my friend that he is reuniting with them for an album and a tour in the very near future. I thought it was pretty cool news.
  17. I was just cleaning my room and by accident ruined the cover of this. I'm pissed, I love this 7'' and it's cool cutout design. If anyone has one to sell, let me know. Mine was a 1st press, but I'm not concerned about variations. As long as it has the die-cast cutout HWM logo, I'm happy.
  18. yeah I downloaded it. I do agree with the comment about it being too long.
  19. I remember when Saves The Day came down here (South Florida) last year, I wasn't able to go to the Orlando show the next night. I didn't mind until someone told me they played Stay What You Are in its entirety. The point is you can totally benefit from seeing a band two nights in a row. I have plans to see both Saves The Day and Cursive back to back in a few weeks.
  20. Fair enough. When I was fifteen and thought I was too punk for my own good, I hated Bright Eyes. I eventually grew out of that frame of mind when I was about 17, and started listening to various genres of music and not just punk. I gave Bright Eyes a chance and found his lyrical talent to be undeniable. I saw Conor with The Mystic Valley Band last November, and it was one of the best shows I saw last year.
  21. I saw the Rancid/Avail tour two nights in a row, same venue. Both bands did a great job of playing fresh sets, only overlapping about five songs each.
  22. seeing them open for death cab for cutie in may.
  23. Outer South. I'm listening to it right now. Has anyone else had the chance to hear this? What do you think?
