  1. I'll be at The Social on June 12th for sure.
  2. well this will be odd because i'm about 6'3 with glasses and a full beard right now. I'll be with my girlfriend who will most likely look like she's there because her boyfriend really digs the band.
  3. I'm going to Appleseed Cast on Saturday at Backbooth. It should be a great time.
  4. I'm always shopping at Radioactive. Great store and Mike is a great guy. I like a place called The Record Rack on Atlantic and Federal. It's not exactly your spot for new releases but he has a great selection of older records for honorable prices. I picked up "Show" from The Cure there yesterday for $35. It was marked for $50.
  5. This leaked and it's every bit as incredible as I was anticipating it to be.
  6. I picked up Show for $35 at a local record shop today. Holding it in my hands only made me realize how badly I STILL want a copy of Wish. I'm looking to spend $30-$40 for this. If you're considering selling your copy or know a place where it's listed for the aforementioned price, please let me know.

  10. I heard from a local shop owner that another local shop's employees do this all the time, and that it's no wonder some places can barely stay afloat. On one hand it makes sense that people look out for their friends, but if I were an owner of a shop I'd be a bit pissed if my employees were doing this and robbing a store of a little more profit...cause customers will come back if they know a store will actually sell rare® stuff when it comes in. exactly. I do most of my buying online because of shops like this.
  11. I really hope this guy is just trying to round up all the Nickelback fans in his town at once for some fruit punch, if you know what i'm saying.
  12. I saw these guys in 2003 and the singer had a full blown Danzig style devil lock. He was even wearing a Samhain T-shirt that night. I thought it was kind of silly. The Music wasn't awful though.
  13. I've noticed certain record stores hold out on the average customer because they have friends/regulars who they look out for. I needed money for rent last month so I sold 250+ records to a local record store. Pretty much my entire collection since I was 18, full of rare shit. When I went back the next day I saw only the common records on the shelves.
  14. People who really like girl fronted pop punk listen to Discount.
  15. I saw them here. I remember it being the biggest crowd of the day, not being able to move and them using a fire hose to soak the audience. I've never been a fan, but it was fun.
  16. They were just here with Paint It Black. I was broke. :'(
  17. That was a great show, but wouldn't it have been much cooler to see them play it live in 1998? They played with Against Me! at my stop. It was a kick ass show. Of course it would have! Against Me! opened our date as well, they only had one bad album under their belt at the time, too. Haha. I guess my Alkaline Trio highlight will always be them playing right after Hot Water Music on Warped 2002 and then HWM coming out and playing songs with them. Classic.
  18. You shouldn't be too disappointed, they've mixed it up nicely on their recent tours. I hope so. I remember when The Occult Roots tour came to Orlando a couple years back. I couldn't get off work for that. I would have loved to see Goddamnit performed live in its entirety.
