It would be nice but I'm not gonna get my hopes up about anything. I've emailed a ton of record companies about reissuing LP's and the answer is always promising, but years later still nothing.

I don't think Alias has any of their stuff in stock, they just never update their site.

Ya, I tried to order Archers stuff that was "available" on the site, but they didn't have it, specifically Speed of Cattle & Icky Mettle. I did get Greatest of all Time for 6ppd from there though.

So last week I saw Modest Mouse - Lonesome Crowded West on vinyl on Amazon for $40. Bought with a quickness. Get the package today and it's a fucking cd. I normally am suspicious about amazon mixing up listings, but it was $40, and I was thinking who would charge $40 for a used cd you can get anywhere for like 5 bucks. This has to be legit.

I know this was posted a couple months ago but the price went down allot since then. Kerplunk and 39/Smooth on Lookout for $8. Figured someone would be interested. Way better than the overpriced reissues.

Cool man, I found the EMI pressing of this for 99 cents a few months ago but I needed cash so I had to flip it. Really liked it though. :-/

The original was on EMI, and there was a Simply Vinyl repress. I don't know of any other repressings.

Just read this on Pitchfork, says they are getting back together & Sub Pop is reissuing the first two albums, but doesn't specify if on vinyl or not. That would be so sweet...

I hate holding onto records at shows. I got a 7" at a Man Man show and the crowd was going crazy, so it was hard to keep safe. I actually dropped it at one point and someone stepped on it but it was miraculously unscathed.
