  1. Hey,

I'm not sure if this was posted already but Paper + Plastick is having a big sale for the next 48 hours. $5 LP's, $3 7"s, and $2 CD's. They do this at Fest every year but this is the first time that they are offering the sale online. The discount is automatically applied at check out. If you have been thinking about getting either of the Aspiga LP's on P+P now would be a rad time to buy them. Get both for $10. I hope some people take advantage of this sale.

  4. We're going to be doing a West Coast tour in August. We also have two new seven-inches coming out later this year and the bills are starting to stack up. I've marked down a bunch of our vinyl and t-shirts. If you can help out, we would really appreciate it. Here is a link to our Bandcamp page. I've also included a link to our music video that Substream Magazine premiered yesterday. Thanks, friends.

  5. yeah, it's just not fair to us people who don't live in that area :(

LOL no, but seriously, the only reason why i'm so upset is because I just moved to FL and now I won't be able to go to this show! It's NEWS to everyone in the tri-state area, Damn, i'm still so upset that this had to happen, I might make a trip back up north in Sept, and if I do, I'll definitely be going.

I don't know if that's the best way to look at it. The band is doing this for themselves and are giving people a chance to see them again. If you love the band and absolutely have to see them then you make the trip. If you can't then you wish them luck and maybe hope that they play something else down the line. Maybe it isn't convenient but they are giving people a chance to see them play again and I would say that's pretty fair. Plus every single member plays in some sort of musical project that keeps them busy.

  6. Podacter is made up of Brandon, Billy, and Eric of Crucial Dudes. Alec was in Podacter when they first started and is actually on both recordings that they have released so far. Alec plays bass/sings in Aspiga. He has been with us for quite a few years now. He is on every recording from Every Last Piece forward. Jason is in Donor.

This reunion show is pretty significant for the band and it's great to see the split finally getting released.

  7. Hey,

We posted the Noise By Numbers - High on Drama LP up on the Jump Start Records Bandcamp page. First pressing is of 500. 200 translucent blue and 300 randomly mixed colored vinyl. It's a one sided LP. You can stream the entire release on our page as well. It's really good and probably their last release so don't sleep on this one as I'm not sure there will be another pressing.

Featuring members of: The Methadones, The Riverdales, The Bomb, Screeching Weasel, Textbook.

FFO: The Lemonheads, The Replacements, Husker Du, Alt-Rock.

  8. Hey everyone,

It's Kevin from Aspiga. A few years ago I started a side project called Extract. The band is made up of current and past members of the following bands: Aspiga, By Surprise, The Only Ghost In Town, Crucial Dudes, and No Regrets. We recorded a six song EP in 2011 and it's finally being released via Hide Away Records. You can pre-order the tape for $4 from their site. You can stream a song at the link below. Maybe you'll dig it?
