  1. Samsung Galaxy S. Had a bb curve that I had before that I loved. Only had to replace the rollerball once. The galaxy S I have had for a year now and it's been pretty great. App's crash now and again but that's not the phone. Just bought a new, double sized battery for it on ebay for 10 bucks. I have apps running all day and use it constantly at work. The old battery worked but would wear out pretty quickly. Over all I am happy but at times I miss the blackberry.

  2. also ship fast and ship well! Those two are musts!

There are a lot of people who will email you almost every day it seems until they get their stuff. I;ve had a few of those lately and it's annoying but you also don't want the bad feedback. If you can go to the post office every day then you are all set, but if you cant you need to set the handling time in your auction to reflect that. Dont sell something and just let it sit for a week because you are lazy.

Remove the records from the sleeve and put behind the sleeve while shipping. This seems obvious but I'm always surprised when I get records that aren't shipped this way. It usually results in a busted spine. No one likes that. Slice of cardboard on top and one on the bottom. Make sure you label everything FRAGILE.

Seems like obvious shit but a lot of people don't do it. People appreciate getting their shit in a timely manner and in great shape. This will help you build up feedback fast and become a trusted seller which ultimately will improve future bidding amounts.

  3. well domestically you can get tracking which is the delivery confirmation. That runs something like 80 cents. International there is really no way to track unless you use an express service which is super costly and no one wants to pay it so you really take a risk. A good way to avoid shady buyers is by setting some sort of feedback limit. International bidders must have at least a few months of perfect feedback or something like that. No bidders with less then 10 feedback is another way. You can also just put no shipping to Italy which a lot of people seem to have a problem with.

I sell a lot of things but international is always a crap shoot. I have been hit with two paypal claims. both I won so that's good but still, there is always the risk.

  4. It's embarrassing to say but I have never heard the 2002 version. Ill check it out tonight. Maybe I have and forgot. This band puts out so many fucking records.

I was really on the fence about ordering the last 2 double lp's. Found an auction for 34.99 for both records on color vinyl so I bid, thinking I would be outbid. I won so after shipping it was still less then $40. Not bad just to add to the collection.

  5. no one needs to bid with any level of hardness. "bid hard" is one of the most asinine things to say when it comes to auctions. people say it like it's actually going to drive the price up. as if somene on the fence is going to bid just because someone said "bid hard" or if somene already bidding is going to bid more.

I generally hate most things you say, but this is pretty spot on.

That being said, Jordan's a great dude so check out these auctions!

  6. Yeah Tadkinsutk's comment doesn't make much sense to me. There are plenty of bands that I love that put out records I am not crazy about. Moneen lost me for a minute with whatever the record before the last one was but I still love those guys. Plus any JEW fan had that whole Invented record thing. Great band, not a great record.
