There was a series of records put out in the 90's called "sounds of.." They were 7" records. The two I remember are Sounds of an airport bathroom and Sounds of an adult book store.

Just someone with a mic recording whatever noises and conversations happened at that time. I dont recall anything specific standing out but I would buy these if I ever saw them again.

I asked Franco about buying 3 Thou records and he said his girlfriend wouldn't let him sell. I have a friend looking for Empire and will pay good money to get it, I just wont sell him mine. He's looking for Peasant too. so the Franco deal would have been perfect. Oh well.

I'm going to guess based on this weirdly ignorant statement that you're the kind of person who put "I like everything except rap and country" in the music section of their myspace profile, or that you are thirteen years old.

No, rap is decent, and certain aspects of Country are good, more so rockabilly than the straight country personally, but it's all ok. Death Metal is just terrible. The only music genre that should've never came about.

How many presses are there of this? I've noticed the price on ebay dropped to about $15 to $20 for the last few copies that sold but I don't really follow this band enough to know if there are represses/boots.

I just can't care about this stuff anymore. I missed this presale, I get in on most. Someone's gonna flip everything. Some ask for asshole-high prices like this guy, others are more reasonable.

It simply is what it is at this point and getting riled up about it is doing nothing but wasting your time at this point. There are better and more important things for us all to be angry about.

Like was stated earlier first class usually goes out right away, maybe a day or 2 delay. Media mail goes out when it can fit. I have shipped records all over the place and have never had a problem with arrival time or condition of records. That's over 10 years of shipping media mail/book rate as well. I ship records to Denver on the regular. Sometimes it's there in a few days, sometimes a week and a half. Still, I'll take that $4 option any day. Package your records with double cardboard and write a "fragile, please do not bend" and 99 times out of 100 you're golden.
