  1. That is pretty fucked, but considering thier popularity (especially this particular release) I'm not surprised. I remember before they won the MTV2 award for Sing the Sorrow their albums could be bought for under $10, now everything of theirs including Davey's sweaty socks go for over $15. It is ridiculous.

  2. This a little late, unfortunately it dropped off my radar

Year Zero is being released on vinyl. What Records in the UK is advertising a "limited edition" deluxe etched double 180 gram vinyl set. The set comes in a 6 panel gatefold sleeve and includes a 12 page LP sized booklet. Disc 2 is one sided, with the rear being etched.

I may wait for some people on ebay to nab this and sell it, since pre-ordering will equal about $60

    Fucking Imports

  3. From gamestop's site: "Multiplayer: Mario Strikers Charged will not only feature an action packed multiplayer mode but will also support the Nintendo WiFi connection service, allowing players to take part in tournaments with people from all around the world."

SWEET I'm in for this game!

  4. I'm hoping that Super Mario Strikers will have online play in the States, since they have indicated that the european version will.

Anyone play Resident Evil 4 yet. Fucking incredible. I'm still trying to finish up Super Paper Mario, so much to do.

    Here's my wii number.

  5. Maybe it's becuase most of their stuff gets pressed and released in Europe for the most part, but I remember Sigur Ros records in general being pretty damn expensive. Like when Takk first came out, I saw the vinyl at Ameoba Records for like $30 bucks. It really does suck how expensive they are.

  6. Hey guys,

Sigur Ros has annouced that Artist in Residence is accepting preorders for a 5000 copy limited edition box set including all their albums , Agaetis Byrjun, ( ), and Takk. There is also a special 12" never released in the States album called Smaskifa. It comes with the Hardcover book In a frozen sea. The whole thing includes photos and custom designed sleeves. Unfortunately the price tag is a little high at $150. If you are very lucky you will get on of the 50 sets that are signed by the band.

  7. For me, listening to vinyl is more of a respect for the album and the hard work that went into putting it together. It forces me to pay attention to the music as opposed to just hitting shuffle play on a list of like 10,000 songs or something. I always feel like I am hearing the album as it was intended to be heard. In the end, I always get more out of it.
