to each their own. when talking about a gram or 2 difference, i'm not that worried. but like i said, i'm not risking anything with my equipment since most of it is hand me downs. And i'm not worried about the record, because if it is already skipping, what have i got to lose.

if you don't want to jack with your table, just put a penny or a quarter on the cartridge and test that song. I have a few stubborn 7 inches that i have to do that on, but i'm not working with top of the line equipment...
