  1. I need money. I've seen these go for a decent amount. Its never been played. I got it at the reunion show in New Jersey in January of 2008. I got number 265/525. PM me an offer. Tour Version: Hand Numbered, Hand Screened, glow-In-The-Dark Covers. No Liner Notes. Label Colors: A: Lime Green B: Red C: Purple, D: Orange.
  2. I'm doing the Buffalo show on the 9th. Super stoked!!!! Check out the openers. Such Gold is one of Western New York's best new bands. Get into them! http://www.myspace.com/suchgold
  3. found a copy of Death Cab For Cutie - Transatlanticism. found a used copy at Amobea Music for $25. usually goes between $50-$100 on ebay.
  4. nope. i payed for mine in july. i saw fireworks a few weeks ago. kyle (bass player) said there was some hold up on the artwork, or some confusing shit. he didn't know the details. but last i knew the band didn't even have any yet. wouldn't get to worried at this point.
  5. word on the street from my local record store is no idea is looking to press jerseys best and hello bastards sometime in the near future. not too sure how true or not true that is. i have a first pressing of hello bastards, thats why i'm holding off on jerseys best.
  6. let's be serious, the odd's of finding a record by a pretty success band (especially in the record industry, most of there stuff goes for a decent amount) with the pressing of 12 records...is pretty much guaranteed not ever happening with out ebay. true. but this is my favorite release, by my favorite band. I wouldn't drop this much on many records. Like i said earlier in the thread, it was a toss up between a couple of records. Not to mention, there is only 1 pressing of this record.
  7. it's not like i enjoy spending excessive amounts on records, but sometimes its the only way to pick up albums i missed out on. take lifetime for example. i was 8 years old when jersey's best dancers came out. it's one of my favorite albums now. that's an album i'd consider dropping a decent buck to own a first pressing of.
  8. i got the red one!!!!!!!! .....paid way more then i should have ...$350
  9. there was one of these on ebay last week (not a test press) that didn't sell, with a starting big for $50. i wanted it so bad, but i just spent $350 on a record. couldn't afford it :'( i sent the guy a message seeing if he wanted to sell directly for a little cheaper, but he didn't respond.
  10. $1000....holy shit! a guy from a local board i post on was selling a 1st pressing a Minor Threat 7in. i can't remember exactly which one, but everyone on the board was making a huge deal over it. I don't think he ever ended up selling it. I bought some OOP Elliott Smith records, and a Kid Dynamite record off him for a pretty reasonable price.
  11. yeah moneys not a huge issue at this point in my life. working 2 jobs. paying close to nothing in rent. wanted to treat myself to a nice record. just feeling a little silly for dropping $350 on a 7in. i don't think i'll regret it.
  12. hahah it was a toss up between a few records i wanted to track down and drop a hefty chunk on! that was one of them!
  13. So I just spent $350 dollars on a copy of Saves the Day - I'm Sorry I'm Leaving 7in Red 1/12 My birthday is coming up. I told myself I'd choke up the money and buy myself one this year. When i saw that a red copy was on ebay I had to buy it. Anyway you look at it.....$350 dollars is a lot of fucking money.... Anybody else ever spend this much?
  14. STRIKE ANYWHERE Iron Front Vinyl does anyone know if VC will be getting any of these?
  15. i like that. i think that sold me on DF. thanks for all the help everyone!
  16. thanks for letting me know. hopefully one of these goes for a reasonable amount. i can't believe there's a red one up. 1/12. that's crazy.
  17. can you post a DF tradelist that has the picture option set up similar to CMY. i can't find one.
  18. yeah but isn't it a separate page? i just really like the set up on CMV. i like the small picture at the end of the list, and how you can click on it and get a full view. its just a very clean organized look. i don't like how you can't take any of the columns out. i really don't care for a "willing to trade" column. and as far as DF having more members, i'm not that concerned with members. i'm just going to put the link in my signature on here. i don't really care about having friends on my tradelist website. everyone on here seems pretty set on DF. other than the "copy record to your list" option, what sets it above the rest?
  19. I've never gotten around to starting a tradelist. I'm going to start one very soon, but I'm having some trouble choosing who to start one with. I've got it narrowed down between Dead Format or Check My Vinyl. Any pro's or con's for either? I like CMY's set up, and picture option. I know a lot of people use DF. Help me out.
