  1. I watched Cabin Fever 2 yesterday, and it was definitely better than I expected, but it still kind of sucked. Some of the gore in it is great, and none of the characters are awful, but it just wasn't put together very well. The sequencing on it was pretty bad, and it's obvious that they want to do a third movie, but had no idea how to effectively set up a suitable ending. There's one scene that gross pretty much everyone out, especially any guy who watches it.

  2. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1263670/

Is anyone else as stoked for this movie as I am?? Has anyone happened to see it yet?

Jeff Bridges playing a broken-down country singer is almost too perfect.

I got the soundtrack the other day, and I've been listening to it on repeat ever since. I had no idea that Ryan Bingham, minus the Dead Horses, was so heavily featured until I picked up the soundtrack. He has some great songs on here, and all of Jeff Bridges songs are just amazing.

  3. I'm in West Virginia, and we're getting the same Snowpocalypse here. I was inside all day yesterday writing a couple papers, and had no idea it was snowing outside. So when I went to leave for the gym last night, I opened the door, and snow literally poured into my apartment like I was living in a cartoon world. I just stood there for a good two or three minutes trying to process how I was suddenly on Hoth.

  4. Can someone post the Alkaline Trio - Acoustic in London set? It was a Blood Pact exclusive thing, and I thought it was posted here before, but after searching through this thread again, I couldn't find it.

    Thanks!

    Here you go buddy.

Thank you! You are a gentleman/darling, depending on your downstairs situation...

  5. There's a Feast III, actually. If you're going to watch one of them, you should really make a night out of the entire "trilogy". It's just one long movie, and it gets more and more ridiculous the longer it goes. If you have nothing else to do, though, and you want to sit around with some friends watching a cheesy movie, I highly recommend it.

Personally, I'd just stick with the original Feast. The sequels were pretty awful and took away from the charm the first one had.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but unfortunately the first one sets up the sequel, so if you're like me you want to find out the rest of the story. I definitely agree with you, though. The next two certainly ruins the charm of the first one.

  6. When you're only 23 it's not attractive to complain about your sore back...

Anyways, I popped a few vertebrate out of my spine a few years back, and ended up not doing any of the recommended therapy for it. Instead, I just did some research on line, and studied up on what back exercises target which areas. I have been doing specific exercises now as a part of my regular workout routine, and I've never had a problem with my back. Well, I'll take that back. When it gets really cold out my back kills me when I first wake up, but yeah, just be sure to strengthen your back, and your core. You should be fine! Try not to get hooked on pain pills.

  7. --Generally depressed.

-Took my 5 month old for shots today. He didn't scream too bad at the time, but I think they're hurting him now because he's been screaming for two hours. Poor little guy.

Buy him an action figure! It always worked for me. Oh, 5 months, not 5 years haha. In that case, I have no idea what worked for me...

  8. I haven't seen many horror films lately. I watched Paranormal Activity, which was over hyped and lame. I watched Let The Right One In, which I didn't love.

I dunno. I haven't seen a good horror movie in forever.

Did you watch Paranormal Activity in a theater or alone? If you watched it in a theater, was the crowd really involved with it or just kind of dead?

I have found that your viewing environment completely makes or breaks that movie. I thought the movie was pretty awful, but I watched in a theater full of people who were screaming and scared all to hell. Most of my friends, however, saw it in theaters where the audiences didn't give a shit about, and they ended up hating it. Due to the environment I watched it in, I ended up with a very positive view of the film overall.

  9. Feast-Been a long time since I watched it, but a lot of crazy/funny shit goes on.I believe there is a Feast II as well.

Big Bad Wolf-A bit slow at times, wolf talks shit to these kids before he kills them. Some funny stuff, gratuitus nudity,HOT chick in a"school girl"outfit!

  10. Way to go with the Harris joke. I think Harris and I would get along, because I really enjoy the show's that USA have been pumping out. White Collar, Psych, and Burn Notice is going to make for three great nights of television, and I always try to catch Monk when the reruns are on. I'm also pretty grateful for their all day Law & Order marathons.

All that being said, I am stoked for the Burn Notice season premiere tonight.

  11. Kieth Olbermann is part of the same disease as Rush Limbaugh.

While it needed to be said, all that did was reinforce the notion that either of those assclowns were as worth listening to as he is supposed to be.

    This.

Don't keep talking about it... don't give it any power. Pretty much everything Pat Robertson says should be completely ignored, anyways. It's such a petty statement that does no good in helping the people in Haiti, so ignore it and do good things instead.
