I don't really know why this made me laugh so hard but I couldn't stop for like three minutes. The anteater one is so great.

The NFG collection is something to behold. I wish I had the money and persistence to do something like that.
-
A part of me wants to blow my entire tax return on this and open my own record store. I wish I had the guts to do it.

Post where you're from and list some or all of your favorite local bands.
Here in the Twin Cities of Minnesota there's a wealth of great local groups. Here are some of my favorites:
The Drug Budget: http://youtu.be/8jY-UazEkRQ
I'm a little biased because the singer plays drums in my band but they are awesome.
Cadette: http://cadettecadettecadette.tumblr.com/post/15728216494#notes
slower and dirty. Loud. Great drummer.
The Blind Shake:
Amazing live band.
Disasteratti: http://youtu.be/HDS2vzzkXew
Touch & Go-esque stuff. Loud and ugly.
Teenage Moods: http://youtu.be/Jj1ZfqhSiHs
Nothing too original. Open chords and melodies. Just good Rock and Roll.
Hyperslob: http://youtu.be/o7pp1jus6rM
Drummer from Tennage Moods sings. Awesome two chord pop.
Nightosaur: http://youtu.be/IqgXct7b3cE
Shirtless dude rock.
Animal Lover: http://youtu.be/qzEYGyL3a0w (dark video)
LOUD AS FUCK.
Dude, I've pretty much lost touch with a lot of the local MN stuff these days but a few years ago before they broke up, Baby Guts were soooo awesome and Retards In Love were also really cool. Not sure if RIL are still around but I recommend those if you get a chance.

Just picked this one up. It's not sealed like the one here but in great condition. Looks unplayed. And only 25 cents too.

^^Dang it's been a good while.

Someone else mentioned this too but I'd like to see the "Vinyl Collective Cooperative Label" section become a cassette board. I'm not really sure what purpose it serves now. Been lurking the Cassette Coalition that Kriss set up (and not to steal his thunder or anything) but I don't know, I just think it'd be cool for those of us into tapes. I know I've been buying tapes much more than records lately, and a lot of it has to do with it being much cheaper, but I enjoy the format as much as I do records.

I wouldn't go so far as to say they're douches, but back when, Tsunami Bomb kind of annoyed me. Label drama, band drama, wouldn't play certain songs. I did love that band though.

That's funny. And he's right.

What's the going price for the La Dispute tape these days?

Isn't that the jordyedge guy on DF?
Bought a grab bag(box?)/mystery mailer from dude, back when. Never came but guy sent a refund. Damn I wanted that mystery mailer. I frickin' love that kind of thing. I wish more people did those around here.

Anyone else thinking maybe this could be the first Sale/Trade/Wants thread to grace the HoF? So many great posts here.
-
The Tsunami Bomb test would be sweet, and I think $150 is more than fair. Alas I do not have the $$. I hope it goes to a good home.

shit.
i'm dumb.
nevermind then!
No, man. If ever there was a record that has never been pressed to make a want post about, it's this one. Also would love this, their best by far IMO.
-
Can we get a list please? I can't read the titles. And prices would be nice too. I don't wanna low ball you but I'm not sure what some of these are going for.
-
Yeah well I'd like Orgy's "Vapor Transmission" and "A Hook For Every Fish In The Sea" by Bookends pressed, but they're never happening either. Never heard an Armor for Sleep song.
Well this wasn't a unnecessary dick comment.
You'll have to excuse me. I've been bitchy lately.

Rambo, that's cool and all but this is in the wrong section, bud.

Their album, "Plans For The Past." Saddest songs IMO are "This Time" and "On Again Off Again."
