  1. I have a feeling he's gonna go back to the WWE.

I hope he does. I just hope he doesn't take himself too seriously now to go back. He took so much crap in the UFC trying to prove himself a legit athlete and fighter. If he does go back I hope he does because he enjoys it and wants to, not for money. Not that he needs it, but you know.

  2. At what point is it on the buyer to communicate an address change? Personal responsibility, people. If he wanted his record, he'd send a message. It's not like idreamofpunk hasn't tried to communicate with him. Who cares if he's looking for validation? Sometimes we just want to know if others agree with us? I'd send one more email and then it is what it is. Because guy can't return an email, doesn't mean idreamofpunk should have to scrounge up cash to refund this guy. Times are tough, too tough to deal with idiots like this guy.

  3. Interesting. I guess his response (RJ's) did seem, to me at least, like he meant what he was writing. And I thought Brian's response was well written and made good points.

It will also be interesting to see how everyone will react when they get their records. Will there be a lot of, "It was worth the wait," type forgiveness when these are in hands? I guess I feel like people here are generally forgiving, which I think is good for the board.

  4. Weird how some people get kind of stoked over delays and such. I wish those same people were fans of the stuff we put out. Sometimes our shipping is slow. I wish people got stoked whenever we get backed up.

If that's directed towards me, I'm not stoked about the delay, nor am I happy about it. But getting all angry about it isn't going to accomplish anything. If you put out records for bands I knew or cared about, I'd definitely buy a record off your label and wouldn't care if it was a month late. It comes when it comes.

Listen, I get the points both sides are making but your point that complaining doesn't accomplish anything is moot. Complaining is a way to vent frustrations and in a lot of cases, the complaining happening here isn't meant to accomplish anything. Also, if you really don't care if you get things a month late, I think that's awesome, but I think you'd be in the minority there.

  5. His character is an original and from what various folks closer to Nolan have been hinting at is that he will be playing a role similar to Nightwing's sans costume which makes sense as Dick is a police officer in Bludhaven throughout the course of the comics. Nolan has repeatedly stated that this trilogy will not have any of the side kicks of the extended Batman family so having Levitt playing a character that acts as a 'side kick' in plain clothes while basically being an inside to the police department due to Gordon being immobilized by Bane or some other reason (retirement, etc) would make for a good stand in with Nolan's more 'real world' take of the character.

I might be in the minority but I'd rather see Nightwing full costume. That's way cooler than some dude in a police uniform.

  6. Not sure how I feel about raising the price but then someone did say it was $35 in the cart. There are plenty of examples of labels finding copies of OOP records and not hawking them for more money, the most recent example being Copeland at Tooth and Nail for $15. Just seems any record label with license to release Blink 182 records wouldn't need a cash grab. These things have to be bringing in bank. Anyway, I know there're a lot of people looking forward to this and I admit, the packaging is awesome, but IMO this is by far the worst Blink record, verging on bad.

Recently been having some buyers remorse over purchasing White Pony for $25. Just seems to me like records shouldn't cost so much. At that price, 4 records for $100 seems stupid to me. And nice packaging, sure maybe there's extra cost there but it also seems like an excuse to price records higher. And this is totally hypocritical of me after selling records on here for high prices. I just look at that Demon Hunter 2xLP on white and say, dang the records and gatefold look frickin' sweet and for $15? But I can't claim to know how much it costs to press and release an album. Complaining over.
