For everyone that's wondering, the australian guy has told me that he will not be paying for the record.

The guys offering to refund half the purchase price ($5) and let me keep the record. Should I take the offer? It sounds a lot better than sending this shit back.

But if you dispute it do you get the shipping money back too?

Is it unplayably scratched? I haven't tried playing it yet. I want to clean it before I put it on my turntable. Mint.

I bought it for 9.99, and paid $9 shipping cuz it came from Canada. This guy says he'll refund my $9.99 when he gets the record back. So I have to pay shipping twice? That's bullshit. I'd rather keep the shitty record and leave him negative feedback.

I just got Burn Piano Island Burn from an ebay seller. The auction said it was "mint". The record is very dirty and scratched. Here's what the seller told me : "If you are buying vinyl you should know that Mint Used does not equal NEW and UNPLAYED. The record described in the auction is exactly what you got, a used mint copy of the LP that does not skip or have any deep scratches (only minor surface wear)." To me, mint does not have minor surface wear. Can anyone tell me what mint actually means?

Here's what I don't get about it. Everyone seems to think it's okay to buy one just to trade, but not just to sell. What's the difference then if I were to trade it for a record that's worth say $85, or just sell it for $85? If I use the money I make to buy another record, isn't just like trading for one?

I see your point, but I'm not the only one to blame if someone can't get one at the show. Someone on here said they bought 4. I only bought 2. And maybe they shouldn't sell more than one. Against me limited it to one when I saw them last.

How on earth does that make the buyer just as bad? If the person didn't buy a copy just to sell in the first place, the person who actually wanted one might have been able to get one at retail price. -1 It's like people who bitch about how WalMart is ruining small business, but then shop at WalMart.

And yeah, I am the guy selling it. And no, I didn't steal the picture from another thread, I took my own. Feel free to PM me with insults. You shouldn't post them where children could see.

All I'm getting at is if you've ever bought a record like this one on ebay, you're just as guilty as the seller. If people didn't buy them, people wouldn't sell them.
