was at the Annapolis mall in maryland today, still have multiple copies of each title. i was able to pick up a bunch of good stuff on clearance too, i'm guessing they dont really sell vinyl that well at that location, luckily for me they still stock it!

anyone know anything about the german "story of my life" box set that's always on ebay? it's five lp's of supposedly unreleased material. looks good but shipping is always real expensive.

Ok I bought that thing, read the directions and attempted to use it, only to find out my turntable doesn't have an adjustable counterweight or any kind of anti-skating controls I guess I'm out of luck, Against the Grain is still skipping

2000 is the shit!!! Indestructible grew on me, and everything prior is great. not too fond of the new album, even the acoustic versions just dont sound that good to me. (i love everything acoustic rancid's done previously though)

Got my order today. My Against the Grain skips, real bad, almost every song. It's my only record out of my collection of almost 200 that skips. The record is clean, turntable is level and not too cheap.

Should I buy one of those tracking force gauges? Can someone recommend one? thanks

As skipping seems to be a common phenomenon with the epitaph represses, I'm going to guess the problem is with the plant. I have one record that skips bad, too, every few seconds (white trash two heebs on white). I've cleaned the record several times. I think the grooves aren't high enough.

Yea seems a couple people in this thread have had the problem with Against the Grain, but a couple other people say it's the user's fault, so I don't know. I'm gonna buy one of those gauge tracking things and see if that doesn't help.
