Hey Var, while you're peeking your head in here, what happened to all of the Hot Water Music releases? They disappeared from the No Idea store a while ago and also vanished from Spotify.

Is there any difference between these new Universal pressings and the Hot Topic ones (other than color?) Do we even know yet?

I noticed this a few weeks ago and thought it was odd. Their early releases (pre-Epitaph, aside from Forever and Counting) also vanished from Spotify. My guess is the rights changed hands. Perhaps reissues are in the works? We'll see.

Has anyone else found it odd that the album's packaging (LP and CD) doesn't feature any photos of the band? Could it be a legal issue, or just bare bones design?

For what it's worth, Cedric mentioned he was feeling under the weather and his voice wasn't 100% at the SF show a few weeks ago. Definitely seems like his voice has been deteriorating for at least a few weeks. Definitely not a spur of the moment thing.

I was originally talking about the bird chirping at the end of the video at the end of the song. Without listening to the song on Spotify or iTunes, my guess was they would remove that bit of chirping at the end of the track so the crescendo would lead directly into the following song on the record. Le Gogh confirmed that there is no chirping on the non-video versions which means we're likely to hear a great transition from the dramatic ending of Burn the Witch into the following song.
I probably got caught up in talk about the song individually. My mistake if I misinterpreted. Carry on!

Relieved I ended up snagging floor tickets for the second SF show. Not even bummed I got them before the second LA show was announced, because it would probably be another bloodbath trying to get those when they go on sale. Congrats to everyone who got tickets so far, and good luck to those still trying!

Yeah I whiffed on the West Coast dates. Hoping they add another LA show, but would also head up to SF, Portland, or Seattle if necessary.

I've dreaded this day since the deadformat database stopped keeping up with new releases a few years ago. With Discogs having grown in popularity since then, I'm surprised Deadformat survived as long as it did.
I started a backup collection in Google Sheets about three years ago when I grew worried Deadformat might disappear, and only a week ago started to make a Discogs collection (good timing I guess). But I'm grateful Deadformat held on because it has been my preferred destination for documenting my collection. It was there when I started, helped suck me into the vinyl collecting community when it's boards were active, and facilitated plenty of cool trades/purchases. Thanks Deadformat.
