I just have Get Lonely, and the sub pop singles 7". It's got Jam Eater Blues, and is pressed on half peanut butter/half jelly colored wax! -
I don't have a lot of rare or OOP stuff, but I'm glad to own: Looper/Dog Traders split 7" (dog traders is Drew from toothpastefordinner.com) Gratitude - This Is The Part 5" Mountain Goats - Jam Eater Blues 7" .. on half peanut butter/half jam-colored wax. sub pop singles club The Get Up Kids - Shorty 7" TGUK - On a Wire : picture disc and black copies onelinedrawing - visitor : bent corner, jonah signed it and wrote "adds character :)" the velvet teen - Elysium 2x10" the Anniversary - Designing a Nervous Breakdown The Alan Parsons Project - Don't Answer Me : really weird picture disc shaped like some kind of machine: And Conoley, I have someone checking on that Falcon record so I'll let you know if I can find it.

I think I saw a copy at my local record store, if it's still there I'll try to grab it for you? I didn't realize this was so hard to find, but I've heard a couple people say they were looking for it. Do you know if they're all orange?

I agree Virgil, where is Dog Problems on vinyl? That should have happened a long time ago. I'd like to see The Comas new album, Spells, on wax. Looks like Vagrant doesn't really want to do vinyl anymore so I doubt that will happen. Finally, The Pipettes album should be on vinyl.

I call them 45s when I'm talking to my parents, and 7"s when talking to friends :]

i'm in central MA, i just started getting into GBH so weird you'd post this here. and if there's anything i don't want personally, i know a bunch of kids who'd want them. either way, i'll take them off your hands! what town are you in? i'd come pick them up this weekend.

I agree with roadmonkey. I have more appreciation for a record when I have it as a tangible thing and I don't have to squint to read the liner notes. Further: I'm not sure of the science behind it, but aren't the bass tones on vinyl deeper than CD audio supports?

not possible, but I'd love to see the Beach Boys, pre-half of them dying and Brian getting burnt out. And I'd rather have seen The Smiths 20 years ago than see them play today. It would just be weird. -

Botch I like the votes for The Movielife. I was at their last show and I miss them -
Robotnerd - that thing looks great. I have 2 Numark TT1550s: and a Garrad Lab 80, which sounds great but could probably use some oil.

I run my turntables into a cheap mixer, and use an RCA to stereo miniplug cable into my computer's line-in port. Then I use Audacity - http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ to record a WAV, and convert to mp3. You'll have to experiment with which settings on your mixer get the best results. Actually, this guide helps a lot with getting started: http://www.kuro5hin.org/story/2004/9/13/11498/3759
