mine wasn't that bad, i moved from NM to CA then to CO. I think the thing my girfriend hated the most was after I moved to CO I sold off half my collection (like 2000 records). She wanted to know why I couldn't have done that in CA.

moving anywhere more than just in town with a huge record collection always makes me reconsider collecting records...

try to track down the Thou/Moloch split that came out a few years ago... awesome stuff

Deathwish Inc. is a good place to find RSD stuff same day... especially something like this... also Vacation Vinyl will probably have it...

Denver has one that's twice a year that's decent, you just need to dig through some vendors to find good stuff...

there a list yet of the smaller labels releases? there's nothing really interesting to me on that list but I know (for example) Magic Bullet is releasing a Rot In Hell/Psywarfare split LP... stuff like this...

you aren't going to find a store that just carries one small genre of music. the best record store in philly is definitely Long in the Tooth. I always hit that place up when I go to Philly and it's always stocked with goodness. You are also an hour/hour and a half away from Allentown, PA you should hit up Double Decker Records which is one of the best record stores in the country.

last time I ordered from SL (DITD and APMD new LPs) I got shipping confirm for a label that was never scanned in the system and then my package appeared... so even with tracking info weird things happen

Mamiffer... another band I love but don't want to go down the path of trying to collect all their releases...

that's why i said there are some label errors that do give value...

there are some cases where label errors do carry some added value... there's some Cro Mags Age of Quarrel LPs (the original press) that have Run DMC labels on them (they were getting pressed at the same time)... those definitely go for added value over the regular versions

plant mess ups happen often, especially if the labels aren't marked side A and B... unless you find a super nerdy collector most people don't care about these errors

isn't Loma Prieta in Europe? I think they have been for a while... that's probably the reason you haven't gotten anything
