I had the cassette, lent it to a co-worker, never saw it again! It was a pretty neat feeling walking across the Maryland bridge as the song was playing in my walkman. Someone may have filled you in about the book already but once thing I can tell you is the name Plap press (likely) comes from the fanzine "Plap = Crap" (Formerly "Passivity=Compliance") that Jon and Todd Scarth put out in the early/mid 90s.

I saw them around the time 24 Hour Revenge Therapy came out, with I Spy and some other local bands opening. it was a great show, but I'm sure at the time I was wishing I hadn't been in 3rd grade when Articles of Faith played Winnipeg or when Personality Crisis and Stretch Marks were around... I'd personally start with etc. as some of my favorite songs are off of comps - Kiss the Bottle, Fantastic Planet, With or Without U2.
