  1. I've got a self released demo tape the band put out in 1992 that is simply entitled Vol. 2. It has no J card. Red labels, Produced by Bart / House of Faith, 1992 Utter Music. I don't know how many were made but I've never seen another one. Haven't played it since 1995 or 6 or so. Side 1 Utter Jelly Reggae Gets Big in a Small Town Strongman Hello Charlatan These Pretty Pleasures Dirty Sea Side 2 Mr. Norris Nine to Five Smoke Like a Girl Lazer Attack SU completists, I will gladly pass this on to you. PM me an offer. (I may also have a completely trashed 1995 tour shirt if anyone is interested)
  2. var ads = new Array("300x250-1.png","300x250-2.png","300x250-3.png"); var num = Math.floor(Math.random()*ads.length); if(Math.floor(Math.random()*2) == 0) { if(Math.floor(Math.random()*2) == 0) document.write('+':g8su586j]'); else document.write('+':g8su586j]'); } else { document.write(''); }
  3. Anybody want to buy the Spazz/Opstand and Spazz/Lack of Interest (white vinyl) splits? 25ppd for both of them (from Canada, shipping is around 5)...
  4. What do I know but that's the first time I've seen a test press on a vinyl of colour. Isn't a test press just to make sure the pressing sounds right? Not trying to be a dick, just asking questions...
  5. Sacrifice played a show in Winnipeg in 1989, was going to be my first show but I decided not to go and I've regretted it ever since. Took me nearly 20 years to finally see them, they were fuckin' fantastic. I really hope the split turns Sacrifice fans on to Propagandhi and vice versa.
  6. 40ppd within North America Spazz / Opstand split 7" Coalition Records (Black, white and red cover) Spazz / 25 Ta Life split 7" Edison (Clear vinyl, green black and grey cover) Spazz / Brutal Truth split 7" Bovine / Rhetoric Spazz / Lack of Interest "Double Whammy" split e.p. 7. p.s. everybody should buy the Sacrifice and Razor reissues that War on Music put out: http://www.waronmusic.com/releases.html
  8. War on Music is possibly repressing it with a non-gatefold sleeve. Check their website in the coming months. This is just something I overheard in the store (War On Music) when I picked it up.
  9. I'd really like to see an end to crazy overpriced major label reissues.
  10. ahh, fuck that shit. I'm going to kill some brain cells so that I forget everything I've read in this thread.
  11. "N: Your voice really is truly amazing. However, Geddy, Rolling Stone Record Guide seems to think that you have "a voice like Donald Duck on helium." What the hell is their problem? G: I don’t know. You will have to ask them. N: And speaking of your voice, have you heard the Pavement song, "Stereo," off the Brighten the Corners album that has the lyrics, "What about the voice of Geddy Lee? How did it get so high? I wonder if he speaks like an ordinary guy. I know him, and he does!" G: Right. I've heard about it. I haven't heard it myself. N: What do you do when you hear a song like that? Do you feel proud that you've instilled these young punkers - again, going back to the punk allusion, Geddy - with this feel of Rush? What do you feel when you hear a song like that? G: I think it's amusing. I think in a weird way it is complimentary." http://www.musicintheabstract.org/rush-oddities/nardwuar-vs-geddy.htm

  14. This is a tough question, as with the administration of records there are many variables that you need to consider. I've always thought it to be prudent to have a liberal retention policy so that archived records can brought back into circulation when needed, but this may not suit your institutions record management needs.
  15. Seems like it's only available as picture disck, eh? Was holding off buying it because of that (and the price) but if you say it does sound good I may change my mind.... But I seriously hate them (picture discs).

  17. Just shipped a well packaged LP to California, cheapest Air option was $14
  18. Also, just try emailing them, they'll more than likely offer to ship for cheaper.
  19. Shipping prices in Canada are ridiculously expensive. One of the most expensive in the world!! To ship a single LP in Canada from WITHIN canada (we are in Ontario) here are the costs: Ontario - Ontario Shipping about $6-7 Ontario - Quebec $6 - $9 Ontario - Rest of Canada $12 + it is cheaper to ship from US TO CANADA, but anything valued over $17 USD will be dinged REALLY high taxes, its usually anywhere from 13% - 50% depending on what you buy. Ontop of that, there is a broker fee. Canada post is about $5, UPS is $20 - $50 and I dont know what Fedex charges I've been really lucky with not having to pay duty or broker fees, largely thanks to most people sending stuff as gift but even then I've had some pricier packages that weren't marked as gift but still come through with no extra charge.
