Got this today. I think the orange looks more red, but whatever. Saving it until after Thanksgiving before I listen to it though.

It's weird seeing how parents these days just drive around their kids when going trick-or-treating. I remember doing that once when I went with my friends and their parents. But that was to go to the rich part of town where I remember one house handed out king size candy bars. Good times.

Although I haven’t got confirmation for this yet, I should have Bad Astronaut vinyl on Friday or Monday. The plant continues to push the date back.

Out of curiosity, what are some records you guys are picking up? I'll probably pick up that MG + KK record. Anything else worth checking out?

I was not expecting to find an hour long set when I clicked that link. That's crazy cool.

I've had 12" mailers put in my mail box before. It's one of those mailboxes that flips open on the top though, so it doesn't get bent. It just kind of sits in there with the lid open. I just find it funny when I come home and see a record mailer sticking out of the mail box.

I don't know if the EP they released as Jericho RVA was ever pressed on vinyl, but if it was that would be cool to have.

Ordered Smoke or Fire along with their previous two LPs. Was tempted to buy SW, but I decided I didn't need it that bad.

I ordered a couple of 7"s and a slip mat, and they put the records in one of those CD boxes mentioned above, and then the slip mat was folded in half and both were put in a padded envelope. Shipping for that was $2.75 first class mail.

I hope the green isn't clear green...I'm getting tired of transparent vinyl. It probably will be clear, but it'd be cooler if it was some sort of green swirl or solid green even. Having black with the bundle is cool though.

I'll probably just get the bundle that Asian Man will more than likely have up in the next week or so.

Cool. Brand New Lungs came out what 2-3 months ago? Just gimme the LP Already!

They decided to release a 7" series as opposed to a LP.

I used a credit slip, so this only ended up costing me $8.50 w/shipping.

Most shows around here are $10 in advance or $12-15 at the door. I'll usually just pay at the door, because if I want to pay in advance I have to go to a record store to get the ticket. Then it ends up costing me more because I can't go into a record store and not look around and find something to buy.

Recently the last couple of things I've sold I've had buyers retracting bids for "Entered Wrong Amount" I've emailed ebay a few suggestions about this but of course they haven't done anything. Once again, I've something I listed sat at $35 for 2 days then went back to $28 when someone retracted their bid for entering the wrong amount. Ebay won't do anything about it either.

It's good that eBay has the option for a buyer to retract their bid in case they accidentally entered the wrong amount, but there should definitely be a short time window set in which they can do that. To retract your bid because you entered the wrong amount 2 days later just seems like a dick move IMO.

I really like half/half records where one half is transparent and the other is solid.

Ordered both. I probably shouldn't have... but, oh well. I'm sure I won't regret it when I have them in my hands.
