  1. Indiana Code 32-31-3-12 requires that, upon termination of a rental agreement, a landlord shall return to the tenant all of the security deposit except for amounts applied to the payment of outstanding rent; damages the landlord has or will reasonably suffer because of the tenant's noncompliance with the rental agreement or applicable law; and unpaid utility/sewer charges. Any amount kept by the landlord must be itemized and a written notice sent to the tenant along with the remainder of the deposit within forty-five (45) days after the termination of the rental agreement. However, a tenant must supply the landlord with a forwarding address (in writing) before this section of the law applies. In other words, the forty-five (45) days does not begin to count down until you give the landlord a piece of paper with your forwarding address. If the landlord fails to comply with the requirements established in Indiana Code 32-31-3-12, the tenant may recover all of the security deposit and reasonable attorney's fees. Although tenants are not supposed to be charged for damages attributable to "normal wear and tear," determining whether particular types of damage are due to normal use of the apartment is very difficult. You may think that a few scuff marks on the wall are insignificant, while the landlord views them as requiring major repainting. Unless you have documented the condition of your apartment at move-in and move-out in unambiguous detail, you may never see your deposit again.

  2. The worst bit of it all was that he spent the Fest Sober. :(

I think that hurts more than all the rumored injuries.

I can't believe that's all that happened to him. I was across the parking lot and heard the thud of this dude hitting the ground. It happened in slow motion complete with a "NOOOOOOO!!!" in my head. Really glad to hear that dude is alright.

  3. Im going to get drunk and go see converge/mastodon/dethklok

In a local publication here in Milwaukee there was an article about the "Dethklok" show with a bit about Mastodon as well. Only at the end did they mention "oh, and Converge and High on Fire." The dude who wrote this doesn't have a fucking clue.

Anyways, I'm also celebrating today with a six-pack and some Converge.

  4. I haven't seen it in awhile, but there was an ad at the top of the page for record shelving. It was the stacked shelving units you see in record stores as illustrated in the picture below. It came in several types of wood finishing. If anyone has a link to the store that sells these, I'd much appreciate it.

    Thanks,

    Matt

  5. Ha, I thought it was you..awesome

great point. About the fall of Troy teenies...there were a ton of people there only for them and they let it be known..

Those fans let off such a strange vibe...and I was stoked when a lot of them left

I had a similar experience when they played with Since By Man at The House Cafe in Dekalb,IL a few years back. The place was packed and my friends and I had come out just to see Since By Man. After FOT was done playing, the place was empty except for me, my friends, and SBM. Their loss I guess. SBM was fucking amazing, and I really miss seeing them.

Young Widows are fucking awesome live and otherwise. When I saw them play here in Milwaukee, they demanded that the lights be turned off, then leaned back in to say "ALL OF THEM." It was pitch black except for a few lights in their monitors which cast these huge silhouettes of them on the back wall and ceiling. Really excited to see them again at The Fest.
