  1. All I gotta say is park close to the house, and move your car after the show . Rad, are you from MKE?
  2. Kidcrash: http://www.denovali.com/kidcrash/ Jokes and Snacks are a must. Really dig the Goldie Hawn EP as well.
  3. Apparently not. Couldn't you just, uh, do something else while you wait for the download. Yeah, people pirate shit because they don't want to sit through the previews :
  4. Oh hey, we were your favorite band, and now we're back together, but we only play local shows, go fuck yourself.
  5. Jake, huge balls for doing that shit, man! Really cracked up for the Jeremy Mayfield meth/NASCAR jokes. Great gay jokes. Dykes with Mics killed me. Stand up takes a lot of practice and nerve, and I think you came out doing really well. Keep at it man. By the way, do you go to school at ISU? Do you know anyone at The Kitchen/that crowd? If you'll be down there next weekend, I'll catch you there.
  6. Eric, did you make the ones Banner Pilot had for awhile? Yes or no, glad to see more of these out there. Ordering mine next week when I get paid!
  7. Don't flush your unused pharmaceuticals: http://www.dec.ny.gov/chemical/45083.html#How. You're going to have to do a little research to find a collection in your area for proper disposal.
  8. replied! Also looking for any The Kidcrash excluding Snacks.
  9. Kind of a long shot, but let's see what's out there.
  10. Well, you did the right thing by going to him first with the issue, but consider what you're going to do carefully if you're going to have to work with this teacher again.
  11. The decorations are even better than the presents. Sweet punk rock stockings! Allison, that living room looks super cozy, and I dig all the different ornaments. It's a lot of fun collecting new ones over the years. Christmas! Woo!
  12. Also, if you happen to stick around for New Years, head on down to Elgin for Ian's Party. It's a three day musical festival held in local bar venues. Tons of awesome bands (most of them local), and it's about an hour ride on the Metra from Union Station downtown (drops you off across the street from the venues and it's $5 round trip on weekends). http://www.myspace.com/ianspartyforever
  13. Sultan's Market (Damen Blue Line stop): http://www.yelp.com/biz/sultans-market-chicago get the spicy falafel sandwich! Kuma's Corner: http://www.kumascorner.com/ cool metal burger place. 14. You'll find me there again this year. Bands I'm stoked on: Amen and the Hell Yeahs Brickfight The Brokedowns BUST! Elephant Gun Giant Lakes The God Damn Doo Wop Band Heart Shaped Hate Hot Garbage The House That Gloria Vanderbilt In Defense Johnny Bodacious and the Bad Attitudes Liarbirds The Night Brigade Pretty Boy Thorson and the F'n A's Sass Dragons Vacation Bible School I wonder what they're going to do now that they can't use the upstairs of the Gasthaus.
  15. I once teabagged a kid that was having a deadly reaction to alcohol, so please everyone make sure you know who you're teabagging. I felt awful for months after doing it.
  16. Shit, you guys are a lot better at this than a drunk me. I would go to both those fests. Also, can we have a fest where Wilhelm Scream plays everything Mute Print and before, because as far as I'm concerned they're dead. Same with Alkaline Trio Maybe I'll Catch Fire and prior (I'd even accept select tracks from Good Mourning).
  17. That's a really good fucking list, and I would go to this fest. All I can think of right now off the top of my drunk head is Bear vs. Shark, Since By Man, Colossal, and Strikeforce Diablo.
  18. I feel your pain man. When I moved from one apartment to another in the same building, I was informed that the previous owners had filed for bankruptcy and that included our deposit. That also meant that the deposit on the new apartment was gone as well, so I was out around $1500. When I went to pick up the forms to file for the lawsuit against them, I was pretty much laughed at as they owed so much money to banks, contractors, etc. that my $1500 was just a drop in the bucket. Good luck, and I hope you stick it to these assholes.
