Yeah in my experience you might have to tell them twice. A lot of the new clerks don't know what media mail is.

 

I've been saving money by shipping Media Mail a lot lately, and when I sent a few things out the other day the manager actually had me open up the package (which was a bitch to pack up) to make sure that I wasn't trying to send anything out that wasn't deemed media by the USPS. Such a pain in the ass.

Awesome condition. Only played once or twice.

Shoot me a decent offer, not looking for anything too crazy. Keep shipping in mind if you'd like it sent Priority, otherwise Media Mail always works.

Just got mine in today. The part written about Patton by Cianfrance is pretty damn cool.

 

Should note that this isn't a 2xLP set though.

Just got mine today, it sounds awesome. So glad to finally have these tracks properly released. Can't understand how the label "couldn't find the hit" because this record has some serious jams on it.

 

And yeah, the jacket is WAY too tight. 

Yeah the sleeve for the Slip repress was way too small.

Speaking of Chris Traynor (and not to hijack the thread) I wish Orange 9mm's Tragic would've been pressed. I don't think many people care about Orange 9 anymore.

 

I wish they would press Tragic and repress Drive Not Included. Love Orange 9mm. DNI has some serious riffage.

You seem to have a never-ending drumming madman, so what’s going with Rival Schools, what’s going on with Judge…

S- Well, Rival Schools I kind of look at as my band! You know, our band, but the band I’m currently doing. We’re releasing an unreleased album that we recorded in 2003 that was supposed to by the follow up to United By Fate, sort of these demos we spent some time and money on, and we just ended up going on a hiatus after a year of working on that. So, they leaked a little bit n the internet, and we decided to officially release the album. It’s called Found, and it comes out on April 9^th, and it’s a self-release. Chris Traynor played guitar on it, and I think he’s gonna be playing with us. We’re gonna try to do some shows this summer in support of it.

G- Get out of here! Anything in the works that you can let us know about?

S- Late June, maybe a little East Coast/West Coast thing. We’re working on it.

G- Dude that’s sick! And you’ve got Chris Traynor on guitar?!?!?!

S- Yeah. He a master, man! And we’re working on… We have a bunch of new songs as well, and the idea is to find the time to make that third or fourth album, however you look at it. We also want to make a new record, and it’s a fun thing. I really love those guys… It’s a lot of fun.

Even though I've heard these tracks (or most of them) hundreds of times I'm so incredibly excited to hear them mastered. The iTunes samples sounded fucking great.

With that said, Black Gives Way To Blue was fucking incredible and the two singles from this album are sounding great. I can't wait for this album. People avoiding anything AIC because Layne is gone are truly missing out. As much of a bummer it is that Layne passed on, it WAS Jerry's band and he's continuing to put out quality material under the moniker.

It didn't come out in the pictures, but the "Spot UV" for the zebras (front and back) is a really cool little touch.

I don't know what they're talking about, but my package didn't have any promo poster with it. Curious as to what the releases are.
