  1. Shortlived label. Only 2 releases, but some great ones. Love to get it going again with some projects we had recorded and were in the works. Help a lil label out if you can!

    SQA001 - Framed #1 - Always The Runner / Snowbeast / Scott Saw

    Always The Runner

Formed amidst the shady oaks of Baton Rouge, LA, Always The Runner is an instrumental rock band developed by four young gentlemen in the summer of 2003. Their sound is characterized by a twin guitar attack, supported by bass, drums, keyboard, and other electronic elements. With flowing atmospheric lush tones and gorgeous affected guitars, their songs go from dreamy to hitting you with soaring rock explosions.

    Snowbeast

Snowbeast was a musical group from Chicago, IL. The music has a broad range of influence but certain familiar sounds are immediately prominent, like 80's punk, and early 90's shoegaze. The sound is comprised of dense oddly tuned guitar sounds, catchy bass riffs, highly energetic drums and some sparse vocal arrangements.

    Scott Saw

Scott Saw creates vibrant, energetic paintings where dreams and current surroundings cross-pollinate with childhood memories and subconscious interpretations of the afterlife. His work entangles birth, life and death and explores the relationship between the physical and spiritual worlds. Saw's paintings have been regarded as romanticized gothic landscapes of nature, misfits and oddities.

  2. I am looking to sell my copy of Hot Water Music's original cassette demo "Push For Coin." I am the original owner and got this when I used to go to shows at the Hardback Cafe. Not sure what the interest is for this, but as far as Hot Water Music goes this is a rather rare item. I will field offers from here, and if something seems good I might take it...I am also debating placing it on Ebay. I will see what folks have to say!

I also have the original release of "Eating The Filler" 7", which I would be OK to part with if the offer was right.

Edited 8/15/10: Some people PM'ed and wanted to see images and know the condition of the cassette and 7". I might have played the cassette once if at all and it is in M/NM condition. The 7" was possibly played twice to three times and is in M/NM condition. Both come from a smoke free house and I am a music collector, like most on here, and try to take the best care of every item I own. Here are several pictures of both items. Please let me know any additional questions or offers.
