I think like $80 or so for FSF - Moon Is Down. Didn't really are at all about the price, it's one of my favorite records ever.

Well, my favorite part of owning records is flipping through them to decide what I want to listen to, which is why I like the store shelf method of storage.

I have about 10 times what is in that stand, so it is relegated to stuff that I am more or less regularly listening to.

I don't see many people who store their records like they are in a store, facing frontwards. I am looking to get some custom shelves made to hold more like this, because I can't find any more of these stands, so I am looking for some ideas. If you store your records like this, PLEASE post/repost your pictures.

I must be getting old because until today I never heard this name to describe music. What the fuck is skramz?

I'm still confused because when bands like pg. 99 and Orchid were around people called that stuff screamo. but now screamo is used to describe all those bands who play warped tour. the bands that have the one guy who screams and the one guy who whines and mixes metalcore with pop.

Yes, the original screamo is somehow what the word skramz came to define. jerseydave pretty much nailed it on the head in his post up there. It is stupid, but (if you are someone who needs to label everything) at least it helps differentiate between Orchid and The Used.

I have one of those clears from the first press and it does have a glossy cover, and no it does not say 1979. I took some pics of it and posted them on Dead Format a while ago, so maybe you can check those out.
