yeah remember how I said I got Let it Be Naked for $7 after using 4 codes? insta-canceled. tried it again from my wife's account with 4 different codes. insta-canceled. this sucks! I'm going to call them I guess.

I've been saving up for a while, just bought a 51" samsung plasma that was on sale for 480, used my codes and a 50 dollar giftcard and got the tv for only $160. It was awesome. Also, I took a record back that shipped and returned it for store credit and they didnt say anything or flag my account. Anyways, I love this thread.

and apparently they have....just checked the status and one of my orders of this is and its no longer backordered, its in the "preparing shipment" stage. I had 2 orders of this one though and strangely enough only one of them was in "preparing shipment" the other was still listed as backordered. canceled that one to be safe, the other I can't cancel because it is already being prepared to ship. I'm going to be really screwed if peacebone or nuclear sad nuclear is repressed any time soon lol

Thanks for the reply! It just seemed weird because it was different from emails I got before. My process is usually this: 1. Get the email that says "We received your order, however it is backordered blah blah" 2. a week or 2 later I get "Your item is still backordered" and it says it will be cancelled by a certain date if not more received 3. by that date I get the "ordered cancelled, discount on its way" email 4. a day or two later I get the code. This time #2 was different so I was nervous. But thanks for your reassurance. I too have had codes from friday. I see that some people say you dont get codes on weekends but we will see about that because by the end of today I should have more than one and I can report back on that later (I don't know if the holiday today will delay those or not)

First off let me apologize if I'm asking a question thats already been asked but I looked and couldn't find an answer so... I've been using Peacebone for codes like a lot of people on here and its worked everytime but once it started going off and online, I ordered Nuclear Sad Nuclear because from what it looks like that was another surefire code-getter. However, today I received the "Your backordered item" email about the NSN which is the email that states it is still backordered but is expected within a certain time period and has nothing about cancellation. Do you think it will still cancel? Someone on here said the label that pressed this record is gone now so it was guaranteed code getter but I'm nervous now because I have a few on order and wouldn't want to receive more than one. TL;DR: I ordered Nuclear Sad Nuclear instead of Peacebone and instead of getting the usual "Your item is still backordered" email which says it will cancel by a certain date, I got the "Your Backordered item" email which has nothing about cancellation. Do you think the Nuclear Sad Nuclear will get cancelled?

first off I apologize for the lengthy thread but I have a lot to explain. so I have been having speed problems with my Pioneer PL-5 turntable (its direct drive). the 45 speed would be okay for the most part but whenever I set it to 33 it would go entirely too slow. if I would tinker with the speed adjust knob and the switch sometimes it would work but most of the time it wouldn't last and it would just go slow again. so eventually it stopped working all together and was always too slow on 33. I finally looked up the problem online and found a solution to the problem: using deoxit on the speed switch. After taking the turntable apart and thoroughly spraying the switch and the connectors with this deoxit (I'm not sure if I did this correctly btw) it seemed to have worked. I put everything back together and after some adjustment with the speed knob the 33 speed was back to normal. HOWEVER, when I hooked it back up to the stereo there was no sound coming from the record I put on, just a low humming noise. I looked at the red/white audio cables and the ground cable and everything looks fine (I even cleaned them). I have no idea what I messed up. I opened up the turntable again and everything was connected and looking good. The only thing I can think of is I had to remove the tonearm in order to get inside the turntable. I had trouble both times getting the tonearm back into place with the two screws on each side. anyone have any idea of what I messed up? any help or advice would be much appreciated.

yell at the turntable and make fun of it for acting so weird. tell it to be normal like the other turn tables. if the shouting and verbal abuse doesn't work, destroy it in a fit of rage and go purchase a new higher grade turn table.

received the bon iver record today, it was just sitting at the bottom of a big cardboard box held down with wrinkled up paper. thankfully it was completely unharmed perfect condition.
