  1. Very nice! I need to hook something like that up.

Its great. I met him via another collecting site back in 2006 and have been helping him get records since. I probably ship him 50 - 100 records over the course of each year. In 2012 I decided to deliver them personally and visit the UK. Ive been every April since and stay with him for a couple of weeks. This will be my 4th year in a row going. We have been to every Desertfest London and its always a drunken blur. When I first went, both of our wives said, "so you met him on the internet???" We both replied, "well, he always sends my records, he must be a good guy." Haha. The record collecting community is a solid group of individuals.

  2. So many poster/prints being released these days I don't know where people put it all except in a poster tube. I don't have much room with all of the windows in my house, so wall art real estate is tight. I have a bunch of things in tubes and feel dumb about it.

I had to do a major clean out for that reason. I only have up prints/posters from shows Ive been to now and yet still have tubes sitting. Its re dic u lous

  3. Wow, and only now am I finding out that there was a Sleep Live in Denver record that's limited to 420 copies on pot green vinyl.

Not sure whether I want that red or gold of that Om live. Those numbers are messing with my brain. I usually tend towards gold vinyl but perhaps that red looks really good in addition to being limited.

It's a pretty cool bootleg.  Essentially the same spirit at the OM LP as it's a pasted black/white photo on plain white sleeve.  Pot Green vinyl was a no brainer as well.

  4. OM - Live; on Panama Red  or Acapulco Gold vinyl

"Inspired by those classic 70’s bootlegs, Al from OM wanted to capture the raw live feel of their 2013 European tour on vinyl. Housed in a plain white sleeve with a paste on wraparound cover, OM - Live harkens back to the days when you rifled through the back bins of your local record store searching for the latest “import” releases from Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. We’ve kept that Trademark of Quality spirit with this release... limited to only 200 copies on Panama Red vinyl and 800 on Acapulco Gold colored vinyl, there will be small amount of the Acapulco Gold vinyl in stores in January, the Panama Red is only available from Outer Battery!"

  5. that blood farmers record is awesome but do not feel the need to get a certain color for it.  just want to spin it.  still need to grab it!

    but ... but ... but ... I wants the red :(

So my amazon order for Electric Wizard stuff came in. Like Joto, I received a purple Let Us Prey...weird. I guess they did 500 on purple, which doesn't make a ton of sense to me for that album. Oh well.

My copy of We Live was on black though. Not bummed about that, but I wish they'd both been black instead of only one.

Purple is a very odd choice for Let Us Prey.  Would have been better fitting on We LIve. Although, the first press was already purple.  Then again, the did a red press of Prey even though they have already done a opaque red on a previous press.
