RJ responded to my email the day he said he would from his post, and was very helpful.

I've gotten LPs shipped in medium-size pizza boxes before, but it has been a long time. Luckily, the only times that ever happened, the LPs were pretty old, not in great condition, and were dirt cheap anyway. I'd be pissed too if I paid more than a couple bucks for a record and it came shipped in a pizza box.

I've actually received a record in a pizza box from ebay also, but at least the seller treated it like a LP mailer and put cardboard and bubble wrap to prevent movement/damage.

I'd say that's miles ahead two pieces of cardboard taped together, or the dreaded bubble mailer.

Always go for the low ball offer and work your way from there. Believe it or not there's actually decent people out there who are willing to let their stuff go for not much over retail, but no one is going to do that if you're giving cash away.

I think Skrillex is really talented for the type of music he makes. It may just be "brostep" but it's probably the best brostep I've ever heard.

I haven't heard anything else from the genre I've liked.

Maybe most of the people in here just have a good ear for this type of music.

Skrillex does nothing to set him apart from others. He'll be a forgotten name in a couple of years and have moved on to the next money maker, as he did with FFTL. With 12 years of listening to EDM I've seen a lot of trends come and go.

Really wish I could just walk away from this thread ("to each his own, etc), but it's really sad to see so many people jump on the brostep bandwagon. It's not so much the listeners who follow trends and get sucked into hypes but the producers who are trying to cash in.

It's the equivalent of saying you listen to rock if you listen to Fall Out Boy, R&B if you listen to Bieber, or hip hop if you listen to Bow Wow. Safely manufactured, paint by numbers, follow the winning formula music.

True, but from my experience paypal has always pulled through with a refund if something went wrong with an order, where as credit cards got store credit.

This has actually crossed my mind before. Don't understand why they had two variants for OLG but not Juturna. Especially when the dark blue/black doesn't look great imo.

I'm another vote for KRK if you're looking for monitors. I have ROKIT 8's and they sound AMAZING. I can hear singer's uvulas swinging around. Light too, I take them with me everywhere.
