    the record sounds great! my local HT must be the exception to the norm. the record section seems to have gotten larger since i started going in there about a year ago to buy these HT exclusives.

    Right. Original stamper was not used, it was recut, different markings in the runoff groove area. And I'm quite sure WB would not do two different remasters now. i guess that would mean that these were "cut from the master tapes" like the box set boasted. fuck yeah!

    the disc looks totally different when you hold it up to the light. it's more clear than black, really. i don't care for it myself but i'm stoked just to finally have this on vinyl! gonna jam it tonight and then give my impressions on the sound.
