I'm totally striking out at getting a quality copy of this. I think I'd prefer the repress, but am certainly open to the 99 release. Only interested in M/NM - I have a backup sealed one for sale that I may end up getting, but it is a bit pricey at $75. Let me know!

I'm pretty sure that the second pressing of Clarity was remastered. Does anyone have any insight into whether it sounds better than the original pressing? Are they really similar? At these prices, I can obvi only save up for one....

ORG's nonsense about being "for the fans" and "die flippers" is, well, bullshit. They've run a rather successful marketing of a release that probably wasn't as "limited" as it seemed, and pussy-footed around questions about the color variants. I'm sure many of the color orders were not first orders of the record, because most "fans" would have picked up any that was available. So now they get people to pay twice for an already overpriced package, and go to sleep at night feeling all DIY authentic and for the kids. In other words, if you're in the business of selling music, you've always got one foot in the door of the man. At least.

...i wonder if jimmy eat world is sitting on more copies of the clarity repress like they are clearly sitting on those extra colored bleed american record... Seconded! If I missed out on this repress, and I want a copy without paying an arm and a leg, what can I do people?!?!

I really want a copy of JEW's Clarity, even the 2009 pressing, in good condition. So I thought I'd part with this as a way to justify the expense. PM an offer if interested - Thanks!
