  1. I'm guessing he just thinks it sucks, not that it is a bootleg. Oh gotcha. Well in that case I really don't give a shit.
  2. ??? Not sure how you're using the word "legit" regarding the Stars and Stripes buddy. Do you mean authentic? Stars & Stripes "Shaved For Battle" was originally released on Jack "Choke" Kelly's label: Patriot Records. They also released the Forced Reality S/T album. The Stars & Stripes that I have is a legit first pressing on Patriot Records from the late 1980's. The Taang Records version is a reissue from the 1990's. "Shaved For Battle" is a much older album than many people realize. Hope that helps.
  3. I may be wrong, but what may be happening here is that the person printed the shipping label from the USPS website but has yet to actually take it to the post office. I have had tons of ebay sellers do this. Makes you think they are sending it out nice and quick, when in reality, they're taking their sweet ass time. ^ It could be that, OR sometimes the person at the post office forgets to scan it. 4 days seems like a long time for it to be dormant like that IMO.
  4. ^ me neither, mine are actually all spread out on my coffee table. It's an overhead shot, the carpet is beneath.
  5. My half-assed, cheapjack, nowhere-near-complete Slapshot collection with sister band Stars & Stripes thrown in for good measure. It ain't much but I love it.
  6. I couldn't believe this one. Whoever did this flip roughly tripled their investment. Whatever a person may think about flipping, this is one I consider to be jaw-dropping. http://cgi.ebay.com/HANK-III-3-Record-St....ite m43a68b8493
  7. Been looking for these two. Please PM me some good news.
  8. I thought that Mississippi John Hurt record was going to hang around a while and now it is the one record I passed on that I regret. If I find another one I'll let you know. The store that I bought it from had a fair amount of RSD stuff left. Something annoying about the John Hurt record is that at the very beginning of the first track on the second side, there are two loud "pops." I don't know whether it's an imperfection in the pressing or if there's dirt in the groove or something. Still a great record!
  9. Hank III - "Risin' Outlaw" Hank III - "Damn Right Rebel Proud" Mississippi John Hurt - "The Immortal" Television - "Live At The Old Waldorf"
