Feels like it hasn't been said in at least a page or two so... Jet set/grind radio when?? One of the only games I remember having a distinct soundtrack, along with THPS and crazy taxi It's also definitely something I would listen to more than once as opposed to having it sit on my shelf forever like most movie/game soundtracks :-(

All the Lush hype aside, just got my OG UK Loveless copy in, and despite it being in awful, awful condition, it absolutely is the way to listen to this. Sounds cliche, but I've listened to this album over 300+ I'd imagine, and I'm hearing things I haven't before.

Whoa I liked this band when I was in 7th grade, I would totally buy this, the album holds up better than the others from this genre and time period

For those looking to shell out money for Lush records: i just bought a NM copy of split and a sealed copy of Lovelife, the Split pressing is not great. I think the way they produced the album is just super fatiguing, couple that with some distorted highs on the record, just doesn't sound as good as it could. Lovelife on the other hand is amazing.

Is chrome by Catherine wheel even considered shoegaze? It sounds like hum. No matter what, it has already become one of my favorite albums. Can this thread just be Catherine wheel appreciation from now on

I've only been listening to 90s shoegaze for the last month. Curve, lush, MBV, Catherine wheel, slowdive, ride, verve, it's all incredible and is such a cool world to delve into. What the fuck is up with these insanely good and sonically immense albums not being able to be found for a decent price on vinyl? IE ferment and chrome by Catherine wheel, going blank again by ride (came out again recently but is OOP everywhere), storm in Heaven by verve (not that crummy sounding boot) UGH
