Nah man, the maroon one never made it to MerchNow for some reason.

 

So they apparently had 700 clear variants made specially for all the customers that ordered the OxBlood from them.

 

If you ordered oxblood, you will be getting the /700 clear variant. 1 record.

This is so frustrating. I feel like I'm going to be on the hunt for the clear variant for a while. But at least there's more than 100 of them out there. Getting my hands on the /100 PYK/Perfect variant was a complete pain in the ass.

a couple cancelled, like me so hopefully a small batch does end up being put up for sale.

 

Just called over to MerchNow. I guess all the orders that were switched over to the clear variant have been shipped and the amount left is being used as safety stock in case anything goes wrong with the shipments.

 

That being said, I was told it is highly unlikely that they will be putting these up on the web for purchase.

 

So if anyone has this variant, I'm offering $50 for it. PM me if you would be interested in selling.

The clear replacement came in today, it's more of a clear/haze than just clear

I feel your pain. I cancelled my order literally the day before they sent that email out about the clear variant.

I still think they should give people that ordered and then cancelled because of lack of updates/progress a chance to buy it first instead of just making it open season on the website.

Yeah, I am hopeful they will put the balance up on the website.

 

Kinda sucks that I waited 2 months with no update and finally cancelled and now I might get the short end of the stick.

I think that's just the half clear half blue pressing.  That was out of 700 I believe.

 

I already have that one so if this is the case for everyone, I guess I'll just cancel mine.

 

 

So I just got off the phone with Merchnow, and apparently this is a special pressing that was made just for them to give to customers that have been waiting super long.

 

It isn't the blue/clear variant.

 

What really blows is that I placed the order in March when they went live but I cancelled my order on June 6th  because I got the variant from Urban Outfitters.

 

I asked if they would let me buy the clear variant because I had the order placed for the Oxblood and they told me: "At this time there are no plans to sell the variant by itself, it is only for the customers with active Oxblood pressing orders, but you can keep checking back on the website."

 

Super bummed.

 

If anyone gets this variant and would like to part with it, please let me know. I unfortunately am a DGD variant collector lol!

yeah, it would be one thing if they ended up being a different purple, but purple to red and purple to orange is kinda lame on their part.

So Merchnow said instead of the oxblood I'm getting a clear variant of this album. It's limited to 700.

 

Wait, so they have a special pressing of this, just for them?

 

That's kind of upsetting considering I only cancelled my order with them after my Urban Outfitters was OxBlood and not black.....

Super bummed the colors got changed on two of those pressings.

 

I get that mock up colors may vary upon pressing, but come on, they're COMPLETELY different colors.

 

Hopefully they sound good though!

Really hoping the pre-orders for this will be somewhat affordable. Unlike the TBS money grab that happened last year....

I must have seen that "Yeah, you're good, how'd you like to pay" screen 3-4 dozen times, only to have it be out of stock when it tries to process the payment 

 

I mean, I'm all for carts that don't hold stock, but if you've made it to the payment processing page it should hold it for at least 30 seconds or so

even when the folks who bought two have their boxes released, I wont be able to get one. I added to my cart the second they went up, and every single time it was taken out of my cart. I did it probably 50 times. sometimes using paypal, sometimes using regular checkout. every single time it was pulled from my cart. what a terrible marketplace.
