  1. JEALOUS At least CS is coming really close to me for $20 :] Lucky! It's, like, my goal to see them. They never come close!
  2. Awesome! Thanks! I'll add the link to the OP. I'm super glad to know I wasn't the only one dying to have this pressed. Now if we could get Tales Told by Dead Friends. I'd rather have that or Voldista EP than any of their other albums!
  3. But I rather like my lifestyle. I'll be nineteen on Halloween. Can I start worrying about collecting then? Or is that the drugs and money year? Say Anything doesn't do RSD stuff, do they? Maybe City & Colour will do something. I want to buy a legit RSD press on a legit RSD.
  4. Well, I ordered two Murder by Death LPs from SRC, and got them in really fast and in great condition, so I have no real complaints. I currently have like three preorders with them, so we'll see. Haha. La Dispute, Brand New, and now Mayday Parade. I'd rather deal with SRC than MerchNOW any day. And yeah, I haven't checked Amazon yet. But SRC had a La Dispute preorder for $19 and it was $22 on Amazon. So.
  5. Here's hoping Circa will have something for Black Friday. Hahaha. Cardiac.... Wow. xDD Well, if I were to have lots and lots of sex, it would be with girls. But hey. I can afford condoms and 7"s.
  6. That, I do not know. I know a lot of people don't like SRC. But 1500 are gonna be available, so I'm fairly sure Amazon, or at least some of the stores on Amazon will have I'd. I'd also check MerchNOW, since most Fearless bands use it a lot. It's doesn't come out until November 22nd, so there's plenty of time to see of more places will get it in.
  7. Only a few weeks ago I ordered BMYL from Shopradiocast and received clear instead of red/white. Lucky! Haha. I'd of totally grabbed clear instead of red/white from Dine Alone, but they were out. Sad day.
  8. Haha. I just got out of highschool, and I totally did rock it. Totally didn't care that it was so poppy.
  9. I just started collecting right after the last RSD. I've just gotten to the age where I can have money to collect and stuff and I hadn't really been exposed to vinyl until recently. I feel like starting out at eighteen is a good idea though.
  10. haha yeah, i used to hang in the same circle as all of them in Tallahassee. So weird to see both of those bands getting big in their "girl poppy genres" haha. Oh nice! Yeah, I always wished I lived in Tally just cuz of how many bands come out of there. I was really sad when Jason left just cuz I loved their voices together.
  11. Very few bands I'm into do RSD stuff, so I'm sure even fewer bands will do this. My only local records store is tiny and very few people know about it, so he doesn't even get RSD stuff. Which sucks. We have to drive to some place to do RSD, which I haven't gotten to do yet. Looking forward to it next year.
  12. While I am sad there won't be tests, I'd still love some other variants! I know there's a clear variant of BMYL. Hoping it'll be there. I <3 clear vinyl.
  13. Glad to know I'm not the only one! After Jason left, he made Go Radio, which had two members from a band I used to know from my city, and they're from Florida, too, so I have a bit of a connection on that level, too. I just like it. Haha.
  14. Just got an email from SRC with a bunch of new preorders and stuff, and I was excited about this one, and haven't posted a PO thread before. Anyways. Mayday Parade's first album, A Lesson in Romantics is now available for preorder. Limited to 1500, on red vinyl, hand numbered, and will be released on November 22nd. I may be the only one excited about this, but hey. Girl-poppy as it may be, I've been a fan for a long time. http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Mayday-Parade-%252d-A-Lesson-In-Romantics-LP.html http://www.interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=146665& Also up on Amazon!
  15. So it was just some random guy? Haha. That's pretty great. I'm kinda glad I know that Hesse Lacey did sing for them at some point though. It's kinda cool.
  16. No, there's no Taking Back Sunday on vinyl before the first press of Tell All Your Friends in 2002. Unless it's a very well kept secret. But really? I thought it was John Nolan. I never knew Jesse Lacey ever sang with them. I'm not super clear on my TBS history prior to Adam becoming the vocalist.
  17. Alright man. I'd trade, but I'm not really interested in any of it. I've got two copies I'd be willing to sell. Hip when up when/if you get interested.
  18. Seconded. Thirded. The only record player I've ever bought from a store was a Crosley. It was all cheap plastic and shit, and the turntable was warped. Was pissed. I took it back. Haven't bought a new model record player since. But I'm looking at a ITVS-750. It looks good. Not sure yet though, as it is supposed to be a Christmas present. To be fair to the OP, the search for a turntable thread is generally used for DJ type turntables in which require all sorts of stuff. I sense the OP is looking for a new model record player like the Crosley and Emerson models (but I don't recommend either!). Plus I posted in the turntable thread and never got an answer, even when people started posting again.
  19. We get a few shows every now and then, but all the decent ones are like eight hours down in Orlando. I'm going to see The Dear Hunter and Manchester Orchestra next month, and we have to drive eight hours.
