Bolt Thrower's classic album, "Realm Of Chaos" is FINALLY back on vinyl! All details will be confirmed this Friday when the vinyl will be available to preorder from the Earache Webstores, and will include an EXCLUSIVE colour limited to just 100 copies!
I'm sure I don't need to tell you that this highly sought-after album will sell fast, so do not hang around or you'll more than likely miss out. The vinyl will be available to preorder from 6pm BST / 1pm EST on Friday 12 October. Need I remind you that the most limited colours of previous reissues from the likes of Napalm Death and Morbid Angel sold out in well under an hour?!

Amazon uk has these listed at £22 a pop and £35 for Live after death, pretty expensive. Anyone know how ltd these are anyway?, not going to pull the trigger in a hurry if they're like ltd to 10000 or something !

Seem to be ok from what i've heard. Just because a records OOP doesn't mean they may not have 1 or 2 in stock, give them a try, seemingly very good customer service from them from some forums i've been on.

Does anyone know if this is available to pre-order in the UK? They're £34 each on HMV.com, obviously I'm not willing to pay that much for a double LP. I can't seem to find anywhere else that has put it up for pre-order.

clear versions are for relapse people only i believe
Relapse sell clears on ebay and on discogs, and the employees also flip them there too.
Also noticed the $500 one on discogs has gone!

If you got a receipt but no other communication I'd say you're getting a clear but it's best to email them to be sure. I got an email the next day saying they'd oversold and offering a "gold" one. They seemed kinda surprised when I turned it down, I think. Shocked at how much the clear ones have been going for... pretty ridiculous.
I see, have they starting shipping the clears or are they mid July like the golds? How come you didn't take the gold if you don;t mind me asking?

So are Rise Above sending emails out saying whether you will be sent a clear or offering a Gold. I got a Paypoint /RA email for the clear the day i ordered but nothing since? I've been on Holiday for the past week so not sure what the score is or what's been going on!

Received a white and red in the post, haven't had a chance to listen yet but, i don't like the way the covers been laminated at the front only, the lamination stops at the spine, so if you were taking the record out quite often i could see the lamination becoming quite messy quite quickly. Also feel the packaging could have been a bit better for the price of it!

Although i'm a fan of the early Earache stuff i don't understand why only the 1st 2 ND releases were given the FDR treatment and not Harmony or Utopia? Is it a cost issue? Also if Earache, as printed on there website or blog(can't remember which) say, that FDR/analogue sounds better why cut from digital when the masters are available?

Hmmm, be interesting to see what the Eld cover is like when it arrives. Just by chance i have a copy of the re-issued Frost on the way too, how's the sound quality on the reissue, out of interest? Like you say Osmose is usually pretty good quality.
