Interesting stuff but whoever wrote it needs to edit his work a little better. No offense!

No offense taken. It was a stupid mistake on my part. I accidentally opened two word windows with the same content and copied the unedited interview instead of the edited one. It's fixed now. Clown shoes on my part.

  2. was my favorite part.

I went back and forth about this a lot, but after researching it wasn't able to find a clear answer as to who actually said it, so I went with the one that allowed the New Deal tag. The point works for both though. I've worked on adding a bit about Thatcher Ulrich's connection to the quote, but frankly it's already

    nerdy.

gotcha, awesome performance by the way. "trust fund crusties"

Thanks a ton dude. I really want to work Ulrich back in somehow, but working out material in TN isn't really the best way to figure that out.

  4. i'm all for seeing the smaller bands this year since i've seen the bigger acts. so stoked for the comedy shit. wanna see mikey erg for fucking mr bond, but i gotta support.

Dude I'm on that show right before Kyle. Right now I am somewhere between terrified and stoked out of mind.

  5. I did a interview with Jimmy from Polar Bear Club at the Atlanta date. All the bands were great. First time seeing Balance and they killed it. Some dude tried to crowdsurf to Stonehands. That was weird. Make Do and Mend were great as always. Fireworks fans don't seem stoked on the new record but they played it all with a lot of heart and I'll be happy for them when their new record finds its audience. Polar Bear has gotten even tighter live and Jimmy is something else as a vocalist. I'd go.

  6. That's my biggest peeve... either we drug test everyone for every government handout/subsidy/benefit, or we test no one.

I wasn't very clear originally. I'm not in favor of testing everyone, I'm in favor of random testing. Also I'd be totally okay with random testing for every government subsidy. Also for drug testing every ceo of every bank who got bail out money.

  7. I work with massive amounts of welfare recipients. I work in the projects, and I work in trailer parks. Anyone who thinks drugs aren't a massive problem in either of those areas are just as far removed from reality as people who think ALL welfare recipients are on drugs. Drug testing for welfare recipients would instantly create a new dynamic in public housing and impoverished neighborhoods. To say that it pegs all welfare recipients as drug users is to say drug testing of employees pegs all employees as drug users. However I'd have been completely against it too had I not spent six years working in those communities every day.
