  1. I'd just take it as a lesson to not use Amazon perorders as a sure fire way to get releases you really want, especially ones that are limited. Having said that I can understand the guys frustration and if I were in their shoes would probably email amazon to voice my displeasure, as I understand it they may have issued credits to people in these circumstances before.

  2. With you on that. Hopefully they've remastered it for vinyl!

IIRC the original press for The Colour and the Shape sounds great, TINLTL could be much better. One by One sounds ok, I'm curious to hear the new press though. The 2x10" was alright, the UK 12" I'd put in the same park as TINLTL.

I'm sure the OP of Colour sounds great but you won't catch me paying that much for any record! If the new pressing is decent I will be getting it at some point, been a bit heavy on the old bank account over the last month or so though so anything that can wait will have to.

  4. I bought both, but only because there have been no pictures released of the colours, that and its one of my favorite albums. I will be trading or selling (at little to no profit) when I finaly get my hands on it. That will be a long time however as I am living in New Zealand for a year but getting my records sent home to the UK for me to unpack when I return.

  5. I cannot push El Ten Eleven onto people more. Bass/guitar double-neck and drums duo, plenty of loops. Their albums go from Tortoise-esque post-rock to dance to pop. I seriously can't get enough of this band. They've played shows with Dosh, Baths, and (were supposed to play with?) Tera Melos. Totally sick.

Really getting into these guys, thanks for that! Hot Cakes is freaking awesome.

Thought I'd share this LP, its by a band called Nothing Done who I think are from Holland, the record label is anyway. Its the best straight up Hardcore/Skater punk I have ever heard, their second LP was nowhere near as good as this one.

Unfortunately I can't find any of the songs from this LP available for streaming now, only their new stuff. Well worth seeking out a song or two from it though. The title song Power Trip is good.
