never dug this band, but i had some friends that were into them. it all looks great though.

my sister's friend spotted dante basco at some poetry slam thing and someone in the audience started yelling "RU-FI-O!" over and over again, and he was fuming. i don't blame him.

i've been looking for a hardcover infinity blues w the chapbook, but if your BIN price is $100, i'm not sure if you'd like my offer. with the spine damage, i'd pay $50ppd max for it, though even $50 is stretching it.

The BIN of 100 is actually a relatively fair market offer, IMO. The SAM chapbook is pretty hard to come by these days. I was only able to snag signed copies of just the Infinity Blues Hardcover.

I just wish Rancid used a b-side from LTDF on the 7" instead of East Bay Nights. Maybe the original version of Darlene that ended up being a Devils Brigade song, the electric version of the Highway, some other song that just didn't make the cut, or even the bonus tracks Outgunned (electric) or Oil and Opium.

there was a rancid/nofx split on green (i think) on the amoeba website yesterday or the day before, but it's gone now. it was $60 or something, so i don't know if that's in your price range to begin with.

Joey Cape is kind of a dick. Kind of.

I met him once and we asked to take a picture. He let us do it, but was kind of like "Dude, why would you want one?" He wasn't being total dick, but definitely registered a little bit on the scale of dick-itude.

i ran into joey cape at a lawrence arms show some time before the playing favorites record came out. chatted with him a little bit, and he was super nice. one of the nicer musicians i've ever met.

i showed up at a paint it black show super early and was just sort of standing around by myself. dan yemin came up to me and introduced himself and we talked a bit. great guy.

if you really want to keep it, grade it according to the goldmine grading standards, see what goldmine says the value of a record in that condition should be, adjust the value to that price, ask for a refund for the difference.

if you still wouldn't pay that amount for the record in the condition that it's in, then just return it. it's not worth it, unless they accept and pay up the 50% refund.

the casing along the bottom of my screen is cracked and my trackpad is on the fritz (it's only working because i have a ferry pass and delivery confirmation slip sandwiched between the battery and the bottom of the trackpad). applecare ran out a couple of years ago, and i'm due to get this stuff looked at. i got it new in 2007. if i have to pay hundreds to get it fixed, i *think* i'd be okay with that. wear and tear. besides, it'd probably be cheaper to get it fixed than buy a new one. probably not that much resale value on this, given it's condition, anyway.

there's a certified apple repair center 5 minutes from my house. i'll stop by some time and see what they say.

the 10th anniversary reissues of gold and pneumonia are fine. not the best, but not bad, either. pneumonia never sounded all that great to begin with, in my opinion.

i had no idea wildflowers was going for that much. wasn't it available forever on amazon for like $15?

would i buy 48 hours or the sad dracula albums if they were put on vinyl? absolutely. in a heartbeat. i love those albums.

do i think it'd be a good idea for someone to go out of their way to press them? no. if ryan wanted them released, he'd release them himself (at least the sad dracula/misc. streaming stuff, see: iii/iv, orion)
